　[蜡祭]毎年五月六月各地方収穫後挙行報賽田神
　諸礼　中山世鑑云古初未知稼穡阿摩美久初分
　種粟菽于久高島《割書：姑達｜佳》知念大川玉城諸処春稲夏
　熟至今在所春夏四度祭神二月久高四月知念玉
　城是為報本返始之大祭也
　[請雨]毎於十月墾種後先三日斎各官皆詣竜王殿
　及天尊廟拝請又請竜王神像升竜舟至豊見城設

　[蜡祭]毎年五月六月各地方収穫後に田神への報賽として挙行される
　諸礼　中山世鑑に云く、古代初期には稼穡を知らず、阿摩美久が初めて
　栗と豆の種を久高島、知念、大川、玉城の諸処に分け、春に稲を植え夏に
　熟した。今に至るまで在所では春夏に四度神を祭る。二月に久高、四月に知念・玉
　城。これを報本返始の大祭という。
　[請雨]毎年十月の墾種後、まず三日間斎戒し、各官は皆竜王殿
　及び天尊廟に詣でて拝請する。また竜王神像を請じて竜舟に升せ、豊見城に至って
　雨壇を設けて拝請する。旱が甚だしい時は国王が親しく崎山の雩壇に詣でて躬ら禱り、或いは雨城
　（玉城村内にある）に詣でて躬ら禱る。首里円覚寺及び波上護国寺では皆僧衆に令して

　[La Sacrifice] Performed annually in the fifth and sixth months after local harvests as a thanksgiving to the field gods
　Various rituals　The Chuzan Seikan states that in ancient times, people did not know agriculture, and Amamikiyo first distributed
　seeds of millet and beans to Kudaka Island, Chinen, Okawa, Tamaki and other places, planting rice in spring and
　ripening in summer. Even today, localities hold four festivals in spring and summer: Kudaka in the second month, Chinen and Tama-
　ki in the fourth month. These are called the great festivals of honoring origins and returning to beginnings.
　[Rain Requesting] Every year after sowing in the tenth month, first observe abstinence for three days, and all officials visit the Dragon King Hall
　and Tianzun Temple to pray. They also invite the Dragon King deity image onto a dragon boat to Tomigusuku to set up
　a rain altar for prayers. When drought is severe, the king personally visits the rain altar at Sakiyama to pray in person, or visits Amejo
