現代語訳
釈明方法等を聞き合わせるため差し遣わし申したところ、四月四日に三州での御勤めのため御泊へ赴き、御窺い申し上げて諸事承り合って帰参申した。
右の者共について
一、四月十一日夜、飯田御泊の御先触を拝見して帰り申した。もっとも右の内に雨天による日送りの御文言があった。
一、右の御測量方について
御領分中の御用掛として市郎兵衛金左衛門が仰せ付けられた。もっとも飯田御泊へ出向いて御窺いし、直ちに帰って宮田御境へ御出迎えするよう仰せ付けられた。外に飯田表での御取扱い方を聞き合わせる者を召し連れるよう仰せ付けられ、則ち清水町十兵衛、下り町儀惣太の両人を召し連れて、市郎兵衛金左衛門が十一日早朝に出立し飯田へ赴き申した。
ところが足助より飯田までの内で三日間雨天であったけれども、御逗留なく御触書の通り十一日に飯田表へ御着座であった。
これにより両人は御宿三軒へ廻勤仕り、相窺って御領分中御用掛に仰せ付けられた趣旨を確認した。

When we sent people to inquire about explanation methods and other matters, on April 4th they went to the lodging for official duties in Sanshu province, made inquiries to the authorities, learned about various matters, and returned.
Regarding these people:
One: On the night of April 11th, they viewed the advance notice from Iida lodging and returned. Notably, within this notice there were words about postponement due to rainy weather.
One: Regarding the aforementioned surveying office matters
Ichirōbei Kinzaemon was appointed as the official in charge for the domain territory. He was ordered to go to Iida lodging to make inquiries, return immediately, and go out to meet at the Miyata border. Additionally, he was ordered to bring along people to inquire about handling procedures at Iida. Accordingly, bringing along two people - Jūbei from Shimizu-cho and Gisōta from Sagari-machi - Ichirōbei Kinzaemon departed early morning on the 11th and went to Iida.
However, although there was rain for three days between Asuke and Iida, without any delay they arrived at Iida on the 11th as stated in the official notice.
Consequently, the two people made rounds to three lodgings, made inquiries, and confirmed the details of being appointed as officials in charge of domain territory.
