現代語訳
一 伊那部村の江庄太郎の名代として利右衛門と
六兵衛が、脇御本陣の富屋治郎左衛門のもとへ
御窺い（お伺い）として御宿をお受けできるかどうか尋ねに参り、御惣客様に
お目にかかった
一 高遠町の書上帳と絵図を六兵衛が
持参して差し出した
文言に不適切な部分があったため、書き直して即座に差し上げた
もっとも町方に関しては高（石高）がない件については全く何の御沙汰も
ございません
一 高遠御到着の際、庄太郎、与左衛門、
六兵衛、並びに治郎左衛門が上下（かみしも）を着用し、
鉾持、桝形まで出向き、殿坂まで
御測量の間、お供をいたしました
一 御宿の御案内のため丁代三人が
袴羽織を着用して出向きました
一 丁の辻まで丁代の先役の者どもが

英語訳
- Riemon and Rokubei, acting as representatives for Eshotaro from Inabu village, went to inquire at the Tomiya Jirōzaemon's waki-honjin (secondary official inn) about whether they could accommodate the lodging, and met with all the distinguished guests.
- Rokubei brought and presented the village records and maps of Takato town. Since there were inappropriate expressions in the text, it was rewritten and immediately submitted. However, regarding the matter of the town having no assessed rice yield (takadaka), there has been no official instruction whatsoever.
- Upon arrival at Takato, Shotaro, Yozaemon, Rokubei, and Jirozaemon wore formal kamishimo attire and went out to Hokimochi and the masugata (square courtyard), accompanying the survey party up to Tonosaka.
- Three neighborhood representatives (chodai) wore hakama and haori to serve as guides for the lodging.
- The advance personnel of the neighborhood representatives wore hakama and haori to welcome the party at Cho-no-tsuji.
- Regarding the matter of using only the honjin for lodging, after Kanga-yu-sama inquired about the room dimensions and gave instructions, it was decided to use just one establishment.
