一 夫ゟ三番目相済御中入之節要脚広蓋相済候頃菊
之間縁頬辺え罷越水野左近殿待合居候夫ゟ
同人一同御黒書院桜之間え罷越着座御目付直御按
内いたし候旨申聞夫ゟ日光御門主竹之御廊下通り
御通り其節扇子取平伏鳥渡御会釈有之西湖之
間え御通左近殿自分御跡ニ付西湖之間御縁え着座
加役衆も自分跡ニ着座無間も若年寄衆壱人

一 夫ゟ御料理出御膳出揃老衆御挨拶ニ被出候
但其節御挨拶ニ被出候旨左近殿高家衆迄鳥渡按内

御銚子迄出御用番御使ニ被出其節も左近殿え御按内

桜之間え罷越着座夫ゟ御門主御退座御通り之節

左近殿自分儀は西湖之間御縁山吹之間通引御能初り
居候間大広間え罷出見物
一 御能相済前之通大広間弍之間ニ而何レも
御目見相済三之間之方え高家衆同席披キ日光
御門主御退引見合御通之節平伏直致退出

一、その後三番目が済み、御中入（幕間）の際に要脚広蓋（かまえあし・ひろぶた）が済んだ頃、菊の間の縁側辺りに行くと、水野左近殿が待ち合わせていた。その後同人と一緒に御黒書院の桜の間に行き着座した。御目付が直接御案内をする旨を申し聞かされた。その後日光御門主が竹の御廊下を通ってお通りになる際、扇子を取って平伏し、少し御会釈があって西湖の間にお通りになった。左近殿と自分は御跡に付いて西湖の間の御縁に着座した。加役衆も自分の跡に着座し、間もなく若年寄衆一人も御縁側に出座した。詳細は図の通り。
一、その後御料理が出て御膳が出揃い、老中衆が御挨拶に出られた。
ただし、その際御挨拶に出られる旨を左近殿が高家衆まで少し案内された。
一、老中衆の御挨拶が済むと若年寄衆も御挨拶に出られた。その後御鉢、御銚子まで出て、御用番が御使いに出られた。その際も左近殿に御案内をした。御用番の御出席、御使いが済むと御土器、御長柄銚子が出て済み、御湯が出て御膳を残らず引き、御菓子、御茶が出て、二度目の御菓子が出た。これを引く時、西湖の間にお通りになった時の通り、左近殿と一同桜の間に行き着座した。その後御門主が御退座でお通りになる際、平伏して少し御会釈があり、竹の御廊下を通って御退座された。その後左近殿と自分は西湖の間の御縁から山吹の間を通って引き下がり、御能が始まっている間、大広間に出て見物した。
一、御能が済むと前の通り大広間の二の間でいずれも御目見が済み、三の間の方で高家衆と同席し、披露して、日光御門主の御退去を見合わせ、お通りの際に平伏して直ちに退出した。

1. After the third piece concluded, during the intermission (onaka-iri) when the ceremonial leg stands and large covers (yōkyaku hirobuta) were cleared, I went to the vicinity of the veranda of the Kiku room where Mizuno Sakon-dono was waiting. From there, we went together to the Sakura room of the Black Shoin and took our seats. The deputy inspector informed us that he would provide direct guidance. Subsequently, when the Nikkō Gate Master passed through the Bamboo corridor, I took my fan and prostrated myself, receiving a brief acknowledgment before he proceeded to the Seiko room. Sakon-dono and I followed behind and took our seats on the veranda of the Seiko room. The assistant officials (kayaku-shū) also sat behind me, and shortly after, one of the junior councilors also came out to sit on the veranda. Details as shown in the diagram.
1. After this, the meal was served and all the dishes were arranged, and the senior councilors came out for greetings.
Note: At that time, Sakon-dono briefly informed the high-ranking families that they would come out for greetings.
1. After the senior councilors' greetings were completed, the junior councilors also came out for greetings. Then the ceremonial bowls and sake vessels were brought out, and the duty officer came out as messenger. On this occasion too, I provided guidance to Sakon-dono. After the duty officer's attendance and messenger duties were completed, the earthenware cups and long-handled sake vessels were brought out and cleared, hot water was served, all the meal trays were removed, and sweets and tea were served, followed by a second serving of sweets. When these were cleared, following the same procedure as when passing through the Seiko room, Sakon-dono and I went to the Sakura room and took our seats. Then, when the Gate Master withdrew and passed by, we prostrated ourselves and received a brief acknowledgment as he withdrew through the Bamboo corridor. After that, Sakon-dono and I withdrew from the veranda of the Seiko room through the Yamabuki room, and while the Noh performance was continuing, we went out to the large hall to watch.
1. After the Noh performance concluded, following the same procedure as before, everyone completed the formal audience in the second room of the large hall, sat together with the high-ranking families in the direction of the third room for the formal presentation, awaited the Nikkō Gate Master's departure, prostrated ourselves as he passed, and immediately withdrew.
