差上申御請書之事
一御薪長弐尺弍寸
一末口四寸より尺迄者丸木
一同尺余之分四ツ割、六ツ割、はぎ割ニ不仕事
一積立高六尺弍寸、横六尺弍寸
但続何間ニ而も壱挺ニ積立間竿にて
六尺弍寸壱間之吊り山柱を立丸木五寸廻り
しからみ二通入何間続ニ而も両端計中江
不可入事
一壱挺〱ニて間三尺宛明ケ積立可申事㊞
一槫木之分長三尺弐寸割方御薪之通
一同積立高五尺弐寸壱間積長何間
ニ而も一続
但間三尺明キ積可申事
一一木場拾間より下者伐申間敷事
但大川御通者格別之事
一成丈里近き所ニ而かた木伐可申事
一諸色積方打辺積ニ念入可致事
右者此度先規之通御仕入ニ相成候
ニ付御趣法之儀被 仰付奉畏寸尺
現代語訳
差し上げ申し上げる御請書の事
一、御薪の長さ二尺二寸
一、末口四寸から一尺までは丸木
一、同じく一尺余りの分は四つ割、六つ割、はぎ割にしないこと
一、積み土の高さ六尺二寸、横六尺二寸
ただし続き何間でも一挺に積み立て、間竿にて
六尺二寸一間の吊り山柱を立て、丸木五寸回り
しがらみ二通り入れ、何間続きでも両端のみ、中には
入れてはならないこと
一、一挺ずつにて間三尺ずつ明けて積み立てること
一、槫木の分、長さ三尺二寸、割方は御薪の通り
一、同じく積み立ての高さ五尺二寸、一間積みの長さ何間
でも一続き
ただし間三尺明きに積むこと
一、一木場十間より下は伐ってはならないこと
ただし大川御通りは格別のこと
一、できる限り里近き所にて堅木を伐ること
一、諸色の積み方、打辺積みに念を入れて行うこと
右は、この度先例の通り御仕入れになることに
付き、御趣法の儀を仰せ付けられ、恐れ入り寸尺

set up hanging mountain posts with round wood of five sun circumference,
insert two rows of retaining framework, regardless of length,
only at both ends, not to be inserted in the middle
1. Stack with three shaku spacing between each row
1. For oak wood: length three shaku two sun, splitting method same as imperial firewood
1. Same stacking height: five shaku two sun, one ken stack length
of any number of ken in one continuous row
However, stack with three shaku spacing
1. Wood lots of less than ten ken shall not be cut
However, major river passages are exceptional
1. Cut hardwood from locations as close to the village as possible
1. For stacking various materials, pay careful attention to edge stacking method
