【右丁頭書】
万（よろづ）禁圧呪術（まじなひ）の法（ほう）
○鼻血（はなち）をとむるまじなひ
紙（かみ）を八 枚（まい）にをり汲（くみ）たての水に
ひたし頭（かしら）のいたゞきにおきて
早速（さつそく）血（ち）とまるなり
○蝿（はひ）をよけるまじなひ
端午（たんご）の日の午（むま）の刻（こく）に白（はく）の字（し）を
かき家（いへ）の四方の柱（はしら）にさかしまに
はり付てよし端午（たんご）は五月五日也
○蜂（はち）のさゝぬまじなひ
呼無所住二所五（をんむしよぢうにしよご）シム呼（をん）シヨと【注①】
数遍（すへん）となふれば蜂のさゝぬこと
妙なり
○蛇（へび）のさゝぬまじなひ
常（つね）に枇杷（びは）のたねを懐中（くわいちう）すれ
ばさゝぬ事 奇妙（きめう）なり

○疱瘡（はうさう）のまじなひ
枇杷（びは）の葉（は）曲尺（かねざし）一寸 四方（しはう）にきり
一 枚（まい）大豆（だいつ）一 粒（りう）にても二粒にても
其子の年（とし）の数（かず）ほど入（いれ）常（つね）のごとく
せんじ用ゆるなり但し世間（せけん）に
疱瘡（はうさう）はゆる節はいつにても右の
年数（としのかず）ほど大豆（だいづ）を入れ葉（は）一寸
四方にてせんじ小児にのますれば
かるきこと妙なり
○小児（せうに）夜啼（よなき）をとむる方
天南星（てんなんしやう）一味小児の掌（て）のうらへ
薄（うす）のりにてはりつけおくべし

ること妙なり又丙寅の二字（にじ）を

右二味 等分（とうぶん）黒焼（くろやき）にしてねりつけてよし
　○同 即座（そくざ）の血留（ちとめ）薬
一 茶（ちや）の葉（は）をかみて付れば妙なりまた桐（きり）の
葉を陰干（かげぼし）にしたくはへ置て粉（こ）となしふり
かくるもよし奇効（きかう）あり大なる疵（きず）は暖酒（あたゝめざけ）に
て洗（あら）ふべし焼酎（しやうちう）もよし
　○河豚（ふぐ）の毒（どく）にあたりたる薬
一 生脳（しやうのう）を粉（こ）にして白湯（さゆ）にて飲（のむ）べしまた藍（あゐ）
の汁（しる）を呑（のむ）もよし急（きふ）なる時は糞汁（ふんじう）をのみて
吐（はき）出（いだ）すもよし何（いづ）れも奇験（きげん）ある事也
　○水（みづ）に溺（おぼ）れ死（し）したるを活（いか）す方
一 水におぼれ死（し）したるには急（きふ）に死人（しにん）の衣帯（いたい）

現代語訳

【右丁頭書】
万の禁圧呪術（まじない）の法

○鼻血を止めるまじない
紙を八枚に折り、汲みたての水に浸し、頭のてっぺんに置くと、すぐに血が止まる。

○蝿を避けるまじない
端午の日の午の刻に「白」の字を書き、家の四方の柱に逆さまに貼り付けるとよい。端午は五月五日である。

○蜂に刺されないまじない
「オンムショジュウニショゴシムオンショ」と数回唱えると、蜂に刺されないことが不思議である。

○蛇に咬まれないまじない
常に枇杷の種を懐中に持てば咬まれないことが奇妙である。

【左丁頭書】
○疱瘡のまじない
枇杷の葉を曲尺一寸四方に切り一枚、大豆をその子の年の数ほど（一粒でも二粒でも）入れて、普通のように煎じて用いる。ただし世間に疱瘡が流行する時はいつでも、右の年数ほど大豆を入れ、葉一寸四方で煎じて小児に飲ませれば軽くすむことが不思議である。

○小児の夜泣きを止める方法
天南星一味を小児の手のひらに薄い糊で貼り付けておくべし。

○同じまじない
小児のへその上に次のような印を朱で書いておけば夜泣きが止まることが不思議である。また「丙寅」の二字を紙に朱で書いて小児の枕元に

風の通る所へ長く置いて細末とし、一切の刃物による傷に付けるとよく血を止め早く癒える。年を経たものほどよい。また

黒ささげ　藜（あかざ）
右の二味を等分、黒焼きにして練り付けてよし。

　○同じく即座の血止め薬
茶の葉を噛んで付けると不思議である。また桐の葉を陰干しにして蓄えておき、粉となしてふりかけるのもよい。奇効がある。大きな傷は温めた酒で洗うべし。焼酎でもよい。

　○河豚の毒に当たった時の薬
樟脳を粉にして白湯で飲むべし。また藍の汁を飲むのもよい。急な時は糞汁を飲んで吐き出すのもよい。いずれも奇験があることである。

　○水に溺れ死んだ者を活かす方法
水に溺れ死んだ者には急いで死人の衣帯を

Methods of All Kinds of Protective Charms and Incantations

○Charm to stop nosebleeds
Fold paper into eight layers, soak in freshly drawn water, and place on top of the head. The bleeding will stop immediately.

○Charm to repel flies
Write the character "白" (white) at the hour of the horse on Tango Day and paste it upside down on the four pillars of the house. Tango is the fifth day of the fifth month.

○Charm to avoid bee stings
Chant "On Mushojū Nishogo Shim On Sho" several times, and it is wondrous that bees will not sting.

○Charm to avoid snake bites
Always carry loquat seeds in one's pocket, and it is strange that one will not be bitten.

○Charm for smallpox
Cut one loquat leaf into a square one sun on each side, add soybeans equal to the child's age in years (whether one grain or two grains), and decoct as usual. However, when smallpox is prevalent in the world, at any time, add soybeans equal to the child's age and decoct with a leaf cut one sun square, and give it to the child to drink - it is wondrous how mild the illness becomes.

○Method to stop children's night crying
Apply Arisaema consanguineum alone to the palm of the child's hand with thin paste.

○Same charm
Draw the following mark with cinnabar above the child's navel, and the night crying will stop wondrously. Also write the two characters "Hinoe-Tora" with cinnabar on paper and place at the child's bedside

Char these two ingredients equally black and apply as paste.

　○Same immediate hemostatic medicine
Chew tea leaves and apply - this is wondrous. Also, dry paulownia leaves in shade and store them, make into powder and sprinkle - this is also good. It has miraculous effects. For large wounds, wash with warmed sake. Shochu is also good.

　○Medicine for pufferfish poisoning
Make camphor into powder and drink with plain hot water. Drinking indigo juice is also good. In urgent cases, drinking fecal water and vomiting it out is also good. All of these have miraculous efficacy.

　○Method to revive those who drowned
For those who drowned, quickly remove the dead person's clothing and belt
