【右丁頭書】
行灯（あんどう）の内に釣（つり）ておくべし妙に
虫（むし）きたらず《割書：なづなの穂は俗に三味｜せん草といふ》
○飛蟻（はあり）の出るをとむる法
今日四ッ時大風　かくのごとく
紙（かみ）にかきて出る所に張（は）るべし
○道のあるきやうにて狐（きつね）狸（たぬき）の類
　を近（ちか）よせざる方
両（りやう）の手（て）を握（にぎ）り爪（つめ）をかくしさて
足（あし）もかくのごとく何にてなりとも
爪（つめ）を包（つゝ）みて歩行（ほかう）すべしいかなる
所にても難（なん）をさくること妙也
○桐（きり）の下駄（げた）のかけぬはきやう
桐（きり）は不浄（ふじよう）をいむもの故に雪隠（せつちん）
などへははくべからずそのまゝ歯（は）
のかくるもの也
○迷（まよ）ひ子（ご）をもとむるまじなひ
男（をとこ）ならば左 女（をんな）ならば右の帯（おび）に

尋ねにいづる人くぢらざしを指（さし）
てゆくべし不思議（ふしぎ）に手がゝり出
来るなり
○産（さん）をのぶるまじなひ
ひらめなる石をよく塩（しほ）にてあら
ひさて

其後（そのゝち）産（さん）をさせんとおもふ時に
この石（いし）をほり出し血（ち）といふ字
をぬぐひとるべし其儘（そのまゝ）安産（あんざん）す
る事 疑（うたが）ひなし秘事（ひじ）なり
○木を植（うゑ）て枯（かれ）ざるまじなひ
卯月八日　かくのごとく紙（かみ）に
かき短冊（たんさく）にしてつけ植（うゝ）へし

　○髪かれて沢（うるほ）ひなきを治（ぢ）する薬
一 桑白皮（さうはくひ）　側柏葉（そくはくえう）
右二味せんじて沐（かみあら）ふべしぬけやみて潤（うるほ）ひ出る也

　○手負（ておひ）の生死（しやうし）を知（し）る法
一 白馬（はくば）【左に「アシゲムマ」と傍記】糞（ふん）　一 蓮肉（れんにく）
右二味等分 香色（かういろ）に炙（あぶ）りよくかきまぜ粉（こ）にして
茶（ちや）一ふくほどなまぬるの湯（ゆ）にて用ひ試（こゝろ）むべし
快気（くわいき）する人はうけ本服（ほんぶく）せざる人は吐逆（とぎやく）する也
　○痘瘡（はうさう）をやすくする法
一 南天（なんてん）の木　同 葉（は）　同 実（み）此三色をせんじ
浴（あび）さすべし数百（すひやく）人に用ひて何れも安（やす）し
又方
一 十二月八日に鶏卵（にはとりのたまご）をとり其（その）卵（たまこ）の中へ蚯蚓（みゝず）
を一ッよく洗（あら）ひて入れ其 卵（たまご）を米（こめ）の中へ入て
飯（めし）に炊（たき）玉子を取出し皮（かは）をむき蚯蚓（みゝず）を捨（すて）
て其 飯（めし）を少し卵（たまご）を少し合せ添（そへ）ていまだ

現代語訳

【右丁頭書】
行灯の内に吊るしておくべし。妙に虫が来ない。《割書：なずなの穂は俗に三味線草という》

○飛び蟻の出るのを止める法
「今日四ツ時大風」このように紙に書いて出る所に貼るべし。

○道を歩く様子で狐・狸の類を近寄らせない方法
両手を握り爪を隠し、さて足も同様に、何でもよいので爪を包んで歩行すべし。いかなる所でも難を避けること妙である。

○桐の下駄の欠けない履き方
桐は不浄を忌むものゆえ、便所などへは履いて行くべからず。そのまま歯が欠けるものである。

○迷子を求めるまじない
男ならば左、女ならば右の帯に

尋ねに出る人、くじらざしを指してゆくべし。不思議に手がかりができるのである。

○出産を延ばすまじない
平らな石をよく塩で洗い、さて
このように書き付け
■【注：図中に「血」の字を中心に上下左右に「賦」の字を配置】
その婦人の居間の下の東方の地に、うつむきに埋めるべし。
その後、出産させようと思う時に、この石を掘り出し「血」という字を拭い取るべし。そのまま安産すること疑いなし。秘事である。

○木を植えて枯れないまじない
卯月八日　このように紙に書き、短冊にして付けて植えるべし

右を粉にして胡麻油で作るのである。

○髪が枯れて潤いないのを治する薬
桑白皮、側柏葉
右二味を煎じて髪を洗うべし。抜けやんで潤いが出るのである。

【左丁本文】
○負傷者の生死を知る法
白馬【左に「アシゲムマ」と傍記】の糞、蓮肉
右二味等分を香ばしい色に炙り、よくかき混ぜ粉にして、茶一服ほどのなまぬるい湯で用いて試すべし。快気する人は受けて本服するが、服さない人は吐き戻しする。

○天然痘を軽くする法
南天の木、同じく葉、同じく実　この三色を煎じて浴びさせるべし。数百人に用いて何れも軽症である。

十二月八日に鶏卵を取り、その卵の中へミミズを一匹よく洗って入れ、その卵を米の中へ入れて飯に炊き、玉子を取り出して皮をむき、ミミズを捨てて、その飯を少し、卵を少し合わせ添えて、まだ

○Medicine to treat dry hair lacking moisture
Mulberry bark, oriental arborvitae leaves
Simmer these two ingredients and wash the hair. Hair loss will cease and moisture will return.

○Method to determine life or death of the wounded
White horse【marginal note: "Ashige-uma"】dung, lotus seeds
Mix these two ingredients in equal parts, roast to a fragrant color, mix well into powder, and test using lukewarm water about the amount of one tea serving. Those who will recover will accept and take the full dose, but those who will not will vomit it back up.

○Method to make smallpox mild
Nandina wood, leaves, and berries - simmer these three ingredients and bathe the patient. Used on several hundred people, all cases were mild.
