はえつかずといふ事なし
○芝（しば）つなぎの事　《割書：芝つなぎとは｜馬を縄なく》
　《割書：してつなぐ事にて｜馬術の秘事也》
繋（つな）ぎたき時は此 歌（うた）をとなふべし
　西東北や南にませぬきて
　なかに立たる駒ぞとゞまる
はなたんと思ふ時は
　西東北や南のませぬきて
　なかにたちたる駒ぞはなるゝ
かくの如くとなふべし奇妙也
○勝負事（しようぶごと）にまけぬ呪（まじな）ひ
枕飯（まくらめし）の箸（はし）を人のしらぬやうに
とりて四角（しかく）にけづりて
　　トンロクモンフハ
かくの如く書（かき）しるし常（つね）に懐中（くわいちう）
すべし諸（もろ〳〵）のしようぶにかつこと

○詞のなまりを直す方
ほとゝきすの黒やき一味さゆ
にて用ゆべし
○もろ〳〵の邪祟（たゝり）を除（のぞ）く方
桃（もゝ）の木の枝（えだ）東南へさしたるを
きりて釘（くぎ）に作（つく）り家（いへ）の四方の
地にうつべし又 桃（もゝ）の枝にても
板（いた）にても門口（かどぐち）にかけおくべし
一切の鬼怪（きくわい）をのがるゝなり又
桃（もゝ）の実（み）の十一月まで落（おち）ず
して木にのこりたるを取て
家の内にかけおくもよし
○祟（たゝり）をはらひ妖術（ようじゆつ）をくじく
　まじなひ
犬（いぬ）の白（しろ）きを血（ち）をとりて四方（しはう）
の入口につくれば妖物（ようぶつ）をはらふ
なり又 妖術（ようじゆつ）ある者にそゝげば

疱瘡（はうさう）せざる人に喰（くは）しむべし大にやすし
　○同く痕（あと）つかぬ方
一 疱瘡（はうさう）の山こと〴〵く上をはりて後 家鴨（あひる）
の卵（たまご）の白みをとり顔（かほ）にのこらずぬり置べし
乾（かわ）くにしたがひほろ〳〵と落（おち）て痕（あと）少しも
つかず日を経て顔（かんば）せ玉のごとし
　○同く草気（くさけ）まじり出かぬるを出す法
一 松茸（まつたけ）の石づき壱ッ刻（きざ）み焙（ほいろ）に少しかけて
粉（こ）にし是を湯（ゆ）にふり出し用ゆべしその儘（まゝ）【侭】
出ること奇妙なり
　○痘痕（みつちや）を愈（いや）す方
一 土白粉（おしろい）《割書：十匁｜》　一 蛇骨（じやこつ）《割書：三匁｜》　一はらや《割書：二匁｜》　一 葛粉（くずのこ）【「粉」の左に「一分」と傍記】
右 細末（さいまつ）にして大根（たいこん）のしぼり汁にてとき夏毛（なつげ）

の筆（ふで）にて窪（くぼ）き所に付べし癒（いゆ）る事妙也
　○面皰（にきび）を治する薬
一 密陀僧（みつだそう）を粉（こ）にし女の乳汁（ちしる）にてとき
寝（ね）さま〳〵に面（かほ）にぬり明る日 洗（あら）ひ落（おと）す
べし三四五度すれば必ずいゆる也
　○人の身（み）の朽（くち）入たるを治す薬
一 螽（いなご）《割書：黒やき｜》軽粉（けいふん）《割書：少｜》おし合せ穴（あな）のふかさほどに
丸（ぐわん）じて朽（くち）たる所へ入れ紙（かみ）にて張（は）り其上に
灸（きう）を三ッ四ッするなり
　○鮫肌（さめはだ）をなほす方
一 行水（ぎやうずい）の湯（ゆ）の中へ酒一升入れ廿一日 続（つゞ）け
て洗（あら）ふべし肌目（きめ）よくなり鮫肌（さめはだ）悉（こと〴〵）く愈（いゆ）
　○酒（さけ）の酔（ゑひ）を醒（さま）す薬

現代語訳

【右丁頭書】
生えつかないということはない

○芝つなぎの事《割書：芝つなぎとは馬を縄なくしてつなぐ事にて馬術の秘事なり》
つなぎたい時はこの歌を唱えるべし
　西東北や南にませぬきて
　なかに立たる駒ぞとどまる
放とうと思う時は
　西東北や南のませぬきて
　なかにたちたる駒ぞはなるる
このように唱えるべし。奇妙である。

○勝負事に負けないまじない
枕飯の箸を人の知らないように取って四角に削って
　　トンロクモンフハ
このように書き記し、常に懐中すべし。諸々の勝負に勝つこと妙である。

【左丁頭書】
○言葉のなまりを直す方法
ほととぎすの黒焼き一味、茶湯で用いるべし

○もろもろの邪崇りを除く方法
桃の木の枝で東南へ差したるを切って釘に作り、家の四方の地に打つべし。また桃の枝でも板でも門口にかけ置くべし。一切の鬼怪を逃れるのである。また桃の実の十一月まで落ちずして木に残ったるを取って家の内にかけ置くもよし。

○崇りを祓い妖術をくじくまじない
犬の白いのを血を取りて四方の入口につくれば妖物を祓うのである。また妖術ある者にそそげば

天然痘しない人に食わしむべし。大いに軽症である。

○同じく痕がつかない方法
天然痘の山がことごとく上がって後、家鴨の卵の白身を取り顔に残らず塗り置くべし。乾くにしたがいぽろぽろと落ちて痕が少しもつかず、日を経て顔色が玉のようになる。

○同じく草気まじり出かぬるを出す法
松茸の石づき一つを刻み、焙烙に少しかけて粉にし、これを湯に振り出して用いるべし。そのまま出ること奇妙である。

○痘痕を癒す方法
土白粉《割書：十匁》、蛇骨《割書：三匁》、はらや《割書：二匁》、葛粉【「粉」の左に「一分」と傍記】
右を細末にして大根の絞り汁で溶き、夏毛

【左丁本文】
の筆でくぼんだ所につけるべし。癒えること妙である。

○面皰を治する薬
密陀僧を粉にし女の乳汁で溶き、寝る様子に顔に塗り、明る日洗い落とすべし。三四五度すれば必ず癒える。

○人の身の腐り入ったるを治す薬
いなご《割書：黒焼き》軽粉《割書：少し》を押し合わせ、穴の深さほどに丸じて腐った所へ入れ、紙で張りその上に灸を三つ四つするのである。

○鮫肌を治す方法
行水の湯の中へ酒一升入れ、二十一日続けて洗うべし。肌理がよくなり鮫肌がことごとく癒える。

○Method to correct speech dialect
Use one ingredient of cuckoo's charcoal with tea.

○Method to remove various evil curses
Cut branches of peach tree that extend southeast, make them into nails and drive them into the ground on all four sides of the house. Also hang peach branches or boards at the gate entrance. This will ward off all demons and spirits. Also good to take peach fruits that remain on the tree without falling until the eleventh month and hang them inside the house.

○Charm to exorcise curses and break evil magic
Take blood from a white dog and apply it to entrances in all four directions to ward off evil spirits. Also, if you pour it on someone who practices evil magic...

○Method to prevent scarring from the same
After all the smallpox pustules have fully erupted, take egg white from duck eggs and apply it all over the face without missing any spots. As it dries it will fall off bit by bit, leaving no scars at all, and after some days the complexion becomes like jade.

○Method to bring out sluggish eruptions mixed with grass-like matter
Chop one matsutake mushroom stem, roast it slightly in a parching pan, powder it, shake it out in hot water and use. It comes out immediately in a wondrous way.

○Method to heal smallpox scars
Ground face powder {{10 monme}}, snake bone {{3 monme}}, haraya {{2 monme}}, kudzu powder【marginal note: "1 bu" next to "powder"】
Grind the above into fine powder, mix with squeezed daikon radish juice, and apply with a summer hair

brush to the depressed areas. The healing is wondrous.

○Medicine to treat facial acne
Powder litharge and mix with women's breast milk, apply to the face every night before sleep, wash off the next morning. After three, four, or five times it will surely heal.

○Medicine to treat rotting flesh on the human body
Mix locust {{charcoal powder}} and calomel {{a little}}, form pills about the depth of the hole, insert into the rotted area, cover with paper and apply three or four moxibustion treatments on top.

○Method to heal shark skin condition
Add one sho of sake to bathing water and wash continuously for twenty-one days. The skin texture will improve and shark skin will completely heal.
