また魚（うを）のあらひ汁をそゝぐ
もよろし
○炭火（すみひ）のはねぬまじなひ
塩（しほ）を少しばかり火の中へ
つまみ入（いる）ればその火はぬること

○蓮池（はすいけ）の用心（ようじん）
蓮池に桐油（とうゆ）を入るゝ時は荷（はす）

ばうるしにかぶれず

七月七日 大豆（たいつ）を以て疣（いぼ）の上
を拭（ぬぐ）ふこと三度此 豆（まめ）をその
人に南むきの屋（いへ）の東（ひがし）より
第二番目（だいにばんめ）の溜（みぞ）の中に種（うゑ）おかす

べしその豆（まめ）葉（は）を生（しやう）ずるとき
熱湯（にえゆ）を沃（そゝ）ぎてからすなり疣（いほ）
たちまちおつる
○かん強（つよ）き馬を驚（おどろか）さぬ方
狼（おほかみ）の尾（を）を馬のむねの前に
かくべし物におとろかずして且（かつ）
邪気（じやき）をもさくる也
○虱（しらみ）わかぬ方
木瓜（もくくわ）を切へぎて席（むしろ）の下にし
くべし虱（しらみ）わく事なし妙
○人の臥（ふし）たるを起（おこ）さぬまじ

東（ひがし）へゆく馬（むま）のひづめの下の土を
とりて三家（さんか）の井の内の泥（どろ）に
合せねたる人の臍（へそ）のしたに
おく時はその人 臥（ふ）して起（おき）る
ことなし

【右丁本文】
日ばかり浴（よく）すべし又方 荊芥（けいがい）薄荷（はくか）二味水に
てせんじ馬鞭草（ばべんさう）の粉（こ）をその汁にて用ゆべし
又方 大黄（だいわう）をあつ灰（ばひ）にうづみ焼（やき）にして十匁 皀（さい）
莢刺（かちのとげ）十匁同じく粉にして一匁ツヽすき腹（はら）に温（あたゝめ）
酒（ざけ）にて用ゆ大便（たいべん）より悪物（あくぶつ）下りていゆべし
又 白癩（しろかつたい）には苦参（くらゝ）をきざみてかけめ八百目を
上酒（じやうざけ）八升にひたし絶（たえ）ず飲てよし幷（ならび）に苦参（くらゝ）の
根（ね）と皮（かは）とを粉（こ）にし右の酒にてのみてよし
　○疿子（あせも）の薬
一　 胡瓜（きうり）をきりてその切口（きりくち）にてあせもを
すりてよしまた升麻（しやうま）を水にてせんじて

　○脚気（かつけ）の薬

一　商陸（やまごばう）の生（なま）の根（ね）をせんじ其汁（そのしる）にて赤小（あづ）
豆（き）を煮（に）て食（くら）ふべし尤（もつとも）塩気（しほけ）を止（やめ）飯（めし）を減（げん）じ
一切（いつさい）あぶらづよき魚類（うをるい）を禁（きん）ずべし又方
冬瓜（かもうり）の小口（こぐち）を切（きり）中の実（み）を出して其あとへ
赤豆（あづき）をつめ黒焼（くろやき）にして寒中（かんちう）三十日がほど
白湯（さゆ）にてのむべし其 翌年（よくねん）よりかつけ
起（おこ）ることなし奇妙（きめう）なり又方
脚気（かつけ）心（むね）を衝（つき）てくるしむに白礬（はくばん）二十匁水四
升ほどに入れ煎（せん）じ三五度 沸（わか）したてゝ脚（あし）を
いれて浸（ひた）してよしまた西瓜（すいくわ）を多く喰（くら）へば
小便（せうへん）おほく出て心（むね）ゆるむなり西瓜（すいくわ）のたねを
せんじ用るもよし皮（かは）もよし

現代語訳

【右丁頭書】
また魚の洗い汁を注ぐのもよい。

○炭火がはねないまじない
塩を少しばかり火の中につまんで入れれば、その火ははねることがない。

○蓮池の注意事項
蓮池に桐油を入れると、蓮がことごとく枯れてしまう。

○漆にかぶれない用心
川椒（山椒）を噛んで鼻の上に塗れば、漆にかぶれない。

○疣を除くまじない
七月七日に大豆で疣の上を三度拭う。この豆を、その人に南向きの家の東から二番目の溝の中に植えさせる。

【左丁頭書】
その豆が葉を出すときに熱湯を注いで枯らすと、疣がたちまち落ちる。

○気の強い馬を驚かせない方法
狼の尾を馬の胸の前に掛けるべし。物に驚かず、かつ邪気も避ける。

○虱が湧かない方法
木瓜を切り刻んで席の下に敷くべし。虱が湧くことがない。妙である。

○人が寝ているのを起こさないまじない
東へ行く馬の蹄の下の土を取って、三軒の井戸の中の泥に合わせ、寝ている人のへその下に置くと、その人は眠ったまま起きることがない。

【右丁本文】
半日ばかり浴びるべし。別の方法として、荊芥と薄荷の二味を水で煎じ、馬鞭草の粉をその汁で用いるべし。
また別の方法として、大黄を熱い灰に埋めて焼き、十匁、皀莢刺十匁を同じく粉にして一匁ずつ空腹時に温めた酒で用いる。大便から悪いものが下って治るであろう。
また白癩には、苦参を刻んで重さ八百目を上酒八升に浸し、絶えず飲んでよい。並びに苦参の根と皮を粉にし、右の酒で飲んでよい。

○あせもの薬
一　胡瓜を切って、その切り口であせもをすってよい。また升麻を水で煎じて度々洗ってよい。

○脚気の薬

【左丁本文】
一　商陸の生の根を煎じ、その汁で赤小豆を煮て食うべし。最も塩気を止め、飯を減らし、一切油の多い魚類を禁ずべし。別の方法として、
冬瓜の小口を切り、中の実を出してその跡へ赤豆を詰めて黒焼きにし、寒中三十日ほど白湯で飲むべし。その翌年より脚気が起こることなし。奇妙である。また別の方法として、
脚気が胸を衝いて苦しむ場合、白礬二十匁を水四升ほどに入れて煎じ、三、五度沸かした後で脚を入れて浸してよい。また西瓜を多く食えば小便が多く出て胸が楽になる。西瓜の種を煎じて用いるのもよく、皮もよい。

○Method to keep strong-spirited horses from being startled
Hang a wolf's tail in front of the horse's chest. It won't be startled by things and will also ward off evil spirits.

○Method to prevent lice from breeding
Cut up Chinese quince and spread it under mats. Lice will not breed. Miraculous.

○Charm to prevent a sleeping person from waking up
Take soil from under the hooves of an eastward-bound horse, mix it with mud from three wells, and place it under the navel of the sleeping person. That person will sleep and not wake up.

Bathe for about half a day. Another method: decoct schizonepeta and mint with water, and use vervain powder with that liquid.
Another method: bury rhubarb in hot ashes and burn it, ten monme, and gleditsia thorn ten monme, powder them equally and take one monme at a time on an empty stomach with warm sake. Evil matter will descend through bowel movements and heal.
Also, for white leprosy, chop sophora root weighing 800 me, soak in eight shō of fine sake, and drink continuously. Also powder the root and bark of sophora and drink with the aforementioned sake.

○Medicine for heat rash
Cut a cucumber and rub the heat rash with the cut surface. Also decoct cimicifuga with water and wash repeatedly.

○Medicine for beriberi

Decoct fresh pokeweed root and boil red adzuki beans in that juice to eat. Most importantly, avoid salt, reduce rice consumption, and prohibit all oily fish. Another method:
Cut the tip of a winter melon, remove the inside flesh, stuff the cavity with red beans, char them black, and drink with hot water for about thirty days during the cold season. From the following year, beriberi will not occur. It is miraculous. Another method:
When beriberi attacks the chest causing suffering, put twenty monme of alum in about four shō of water, decoct and boil three to five times, then soak the legs in it. Also, eating much watermelon causes abundant urination and relieves the chest. Decocting watermelon seeds is also good, as is the rind.
