事あり
○西風久しければ火 災（さい）あり
物をかわかすゆゑなり西北風
もつとも火災の憂（うれへ）あり
○五 更（かう）に雨ふれば明る日必ず晴
五更とは夜（よる）の七ッ時なり暮（くれ）の雨
ははれがたし
○久雨（きうう）の後くれがたに雨 止（や）みて
明らかに晴（はる）るはかならず又雨なり
雨と雪とまじるは晴がたし
○雨水に泡（あわ）あるははれやすからず
○久雨くもりてはれず午時前（ひるまへ）
にいたりて少しやむは午時の後
大雨午の正時（せいじ）に少やむはよし
○久雨くらきはよし天（そら）忽（たちまち）明ら
かになるは必ずまた雨ふる
雨中に日てるは天気よからず

又雨やみて後 軒（のき）のあまだり
未やまずして日 照（て）るは又雨と

○雪ふりて消（きえ）ざるを名づけ
て友を俟（まつ）といふかならず再（ふたゝ）び

○雪ふりて久しくきえず雪
の後雨なきは来年 霖（なが）雨ふる
○冬雪 多（おほ）くふるは豊（ほう）年の
しるしなり冬しば〳〵雪 降（ふり）て
寒気烈しければ来年虫少し
冬雪なければ来年五 穀（こく）み
のらずして民（たみ）に災（わざはひ）多しと云
但（たゞ）しこれは国所によりてちがひ
あるべしあながちに拘（かゝは）るべからず
又春の雪はその用なし

べしおつる事 甚（はなはだ）妙（めう）なり《割書：城隍は産土神（うぢかみ）のことなり｜信心してかくへし》

一 急（きふ）に半 夏（げ）皂（さう）角の粉を鼻（はな）へ吹入れ痰（たん）を出し
次に蘇香（そかう）丸をあたふべし但（たゞ）し身 静（しづか）に眼（め）陥（おちい）り
たる者又 面色（かほいろ）青黒（あをくろ）き者は治せず

又方 皂（さう）角一 味（み）を末（まつ）し豆の大さほどにして鼻（はな）の
中へ吹（ふき）入れ嚔（はなひ）れば気 通（つう）ずる也又 雄黄（をわう）を粉（こ）に
して管（くだ）にて鼻へ吹入るもよし
　○驚（おどろ）きて物 云（いは）ざるを治する方
一 兵乱（ひやうらん）火難（くわなん）盗賊（とうぞく）或（あるひ）は猛獣（まうじう）などに逢（あひ）て大に
驚（おどろ）きものいふこと能（あたは）ざるものあり密陀僧（みつだそう）を
細（さい）末にし一 度（ど）に五分ほど好（よき）茶にて与（あた）ふべし
久からずして必 言語（ものいふ）べし
　○労咳（らうがい）の薬
一 黒胡麻（くろごま）《割書：壱合｜》　一 蒜（にゝく）の実（み）《割書：壱合｜》　一花 鰹（がつを）《割書：壱合｜》
一 味噌《割書：壱合｜》　右火にてとろ〳〵と次第に
ねりつめ常（つね）に菜（さい）味噌にして喰（くら）ふべし治する
こと妙なり

現代語訳

【右丁頭書】
災害がある。
○西風が長く続けば火災がある。物を乾燥させるためで、西北風は最も火災の心配がある。
○午前2時頃に雨が降れば、翌日は必ず晴れる。五更とは夜の七つ時（午前2時頃）のことである。夕方の雨は晴れにくい。
○長雨の後、夕方になって雨が止み、明らかに晴れるのは必ずまた雨になる。雨と雪が混じるのは晴れにくい。
○雨水に泡があるのは晴れやすくない。
○長雨で曇って晴れず、正午前になって少し止むのは、正午過ぎに大雨になる。正午ちょうどに少し止むのは良い。
○長雨で暗いのは良い。空が急に明るくなるのは必ずまた雨が降る。雨中に日が照るのは天気が良くない。

【左丁頭書】
また雨が止んだ後、軒の雨だれがまだ止まないうちに日が照るのは、また雨になる。
○雪が降って消えないのを「友を待つ」と名付ける。必ずまた雪が降るだろう。
○雪が降って長く消えず、雪の後に雨がないのは、翌年長雨が降る。
○冬に雪が多く降るのは豊年の印である。冬にしばしば雪が降って寒さが厳しければ、翌年虫が少ない。冬に雪がなければ、翌年五穀が実らず民に災いが多いという。ただし、これは土地によって違いがあるだろうから、むやみにこだわるべきではない。また春の雪はその効用がない。
○冬に雪がないのは麦が実らない。

朱色で「上天下都城隍在」と七文字を重ねて書くべし。効果は非常に素晴らしい《城隍は産土神のことである。信心して書くべし》
　○悪夢で死にそうになる症状の治療法
急いで半夏・皂角の粉を鼻に吹き入れて痰を出し、次に蘇香丸を与えるべし。ただし身体が静かで目が落ち込んだ者、また顔色が青黒い者は治らない。

【左丁本文】
また別の方法として、皂角一味を粉末にして豆大ほどにして鼻の中へ吹き入れ、くしゃみが出れば気が通じる。また雄黄を粉にして管で鼻へ吹き入れるのも良い。
　○驚いて物を言わなくなるのを治す方法
戦乱・火災・盗賊、あるいは猛獣などに遭って大いに驚き、物を言うことができなくなる者がいる。密陀僧を細末にし、一度に五分ほど良い茶で与えるべし。しばらくすると必ず話すようになる。
　○労咳（慢性の咳）の薬
黒胡麻《一合》　蒜の実《一合》　花鰹《一合》　味噌《一合》　右を火でとろとろと順次に練り詰め、常に菜味噌として食べるべし。治療効果は素晴らしい。

○When west winds persist for long periods, there will be fires. This is because they dry out things. Northwest winds especially bring concerns of fire disasters.
○If rain falls at the fifth watch (around 2 AM), the next day will surely be clear. The fifth watch refers to the seventh hour of night (around 2 AM). Evening rain is difficult to clear.
○After long rains, when rain stops in the evening and it clears brightly, it will surely rain again. When rain and snow mix, it is difficult to clear.
○When rainwater has bubbles, it does not clear easily.
○During long rains when it's cloudy and doesn't clear, if it stops a little before noon, there will be heavy rain after noon. If it stops a little at exactly noon, that's good.
○Long rain with darkness is good. When the sky suddenly becomes bright, it will surely rain again. When the sun shines during rain, the weather is not good.

Also, after rain stops, if the sun shines while dripping from the eaves hasn't stopped yet, it will rain again.
○Snow that falls and doesn't melt is called "waiting for a friend." Snow will surely fall again.
○When snow falls and doesn't melt for a long time, and there's no rain after snow, there will be long rains the following year.
○Heavy snowfall in winter is a sign of a prosperous year. If snow falls frequently in winter and the cold is severe, there will be few insects the following year. If there's no snow in winter, the five grains won't ripen the following year and there will be many disasters for the people. However, this varies by region, so one shouldn't be overly concerned. Also, spring snow has no such effect.
○When there's no snow in winter, wheat won't ripen.

Write the seven characters "上天下都城隍在" (Above Heaven, Below Earth, City God Present) in red ink, layering them. The effect is extremely wonderful. 《City God refers to the tutelary deity. Write this with faith.》
　○Treatment for nightmare-induced near-death (sleep paralysis)
Quickly blow powdered pinellia and gleditsia into the nose to expel phlegm, then give Suko pills. However, those whose bodies are still with sunken eyes, or those with blue-black complexions cannot be cured.

Another method: powder gleditsia alone to about the size of a bean and blow it into the nose. When sneezing occurs, qi will flow. Also blowing powdered realgar into the nose with a tube is good.
　○Method to cure those who cannot speak due to shock
There are those who encounter warfare, fires, bandits, or fierce beasts, become greatly shocked, and cannot speak. Make litharge into fine powder and give about five parts at a time with good tea. Before long, they will surely speak.
　○Medicine for chronic cough
Black sesame seeds《one cup》　Garlic seeds《one cup》　Dried bonito flakes《one cup》　Miso《one cup》　Heat the above over fire, gradually kneading until thick, and regularly eat as vegetable miso. The healing effect is wonderful.
