一 当村石切之義委詮儀仕候処今年
御書上之外壱人も無御座候若御帳面
除隠置候段御及御聞候ハヽ其元御注進可
被成候由致承知其上拙者共如何様成
御咎被 仰付候共少も御恨申間敷候
為後日石切請負証文仍如件

差出申一札之事
一、当村の石切の件について詳しく調査いたしましたところ、今年の御書上（報告書）に記載した以外には一人もおりません。もし帳面から除外して隠している者がいるということをお聞きになりましたら、そちら様から御注進（報告）していただくよう承知いたしました。その上で私ども（村役人）がいかなる御咎め（処罰）を仰せ付けられましても、少しも御恨み申し上げることはございません。
後日の証拠のため、石切請負証文として、よって件の如し。

Document of Submission
Regarding the matter of stone cutters in our village: We have conducted a thorough investigation and found that there are no stone cutters other than those recorded in this year's official report. Should you hear that we have concealed anyone by omitting them from the records, we understand that you should report this matter to the authorities. Furthermore, should we village officials receive any punishment whatsoever, we will harbor no resentment.
This serves as a contractor's certificate for stone cutters for future reference. Respectfully submitted.
