不憫なことである。どうしたらよいだろうか。結局のところは、数年の蓄えもなく、にわかに立て籠もったものなので、兵糧や弾薬が尽きないことはよもやあるまい。そのうえ、御掟ということで、かたがた持って、まず一ヶ月ほど緩やかにすべしと、談合が決まったところに、鍋島信濃守が手先へ夜討ちを打つ。打つに、思いもかけないことなので、得たりや賢しと引っ詰んで、百四、五十の首を取り、生け捕り二、三十人を絡め取る。残る二百余りは、ほうほう城へ逃げ上る。さて死人どもの腹を開けて
