これ美酒かすな一升三合の御作也
のたまく孫左衛門か家に

又とかい帳は
かまいませぬそや

借銭断横に寝釈迦の尊像
一時一杯にて至って困窮なる
尊像なり
これ美酒糟な一升三合の御作なり
のたまわく孫左衛門が家に
伝わる所にして一たび
拝するとも体は
たちまち身体
飲みつ伏されとの
御たわ言となり
毎年極月大晦日に
酒の通の締高の
御買帳あり
また戸買帳は
構いませぬそや
その心で後の
商いをさっし
やいまし
これ堅干山
満願寺の
小判
吸い
上人
持丸
長者へ
授け
給う
金持

良い稼ぎに借り倒しては
米屋も薪屋も味噌屋も

With just one drink at a time, becoming utterly impoverished
This is a venerable image
This is the creation of fine sake lees, one sho and three go
It is said that in Magozaemon's house
this has been passed down, and once
one worships it, the body
immediately becomes
drunk and collapsed,
such is the divine nonsense
Every year on New Year's Eve of the twelfth month
there is an account book of sake purchases
with the total tally
Also, house purchase accounts
are no concern, so
with that mind, one should guess
at future business
and be warned
