差上申一札之事
戸臺谷之内平右衛門谷
右之御山此度御願申上唐松白檜小杲御請所
仰付難有奉存候右両木之外猥成儀仕間敷
御条目之通奉畏御請印仕候上ㇵ諸事堅相守可
申候幷杣日雇慥成もの吟味仕御山入可仕候御事
一 御領所者勿論御地領山續御境目等念入御領分
之内たり登いへ共惣而御請所之外一切入間敷候旨
奉畏候其段杣日雇共急度申渡堅相守可申候
万一不届之義外々より相知候ハハ御詮議之上如何様にも
可被 仰付候事
一 御山伐之者職人壱人ニ付壱ヶ月銀拾匁ツ〃急度

差し上げ申し上げる一札の事
戸台谷のうち平右衛門谷
右の御山、この度お願い申し上げました唐松・白檜・小楢の御請所に仰せ付けいただき、有り難く存じ奉ります。右の両木以外のみだりなる儀は仕るまじく、御条目の通り畏れ奉り御請印仕り候上は、諸事堅く相守り申すべく候。並びに杣・日雇いは確かな者を吟味し、御山入りさせるべく候事。
一、御領所はもちろん、御地領山続き御境目等念を入れ、御領分の内であっても、総て御請所の外は一切入ってはならない旨、畏れ奉り候。その段、杣・日雇い共にきっと申し渡し、堅く相守らせ申すべく候。万一不届きの義、外々より相知れ候わば、御詮議の上いかようにでも仰せ付けられるべく候事。
一、御山伐りの者、職人一人につき一ヶ月銀十匁ずつ、きっと御上納仕るべく候事。
右御定めの趣きっと相守るべく候。後日のため、よって件の如し。

Heiemon Valley within Todai Valley
Regarding the aforementioned mountain, we humbly express our gratitude for being appointed to the contract for larch, white cypress, and small oak as requested. We shall not engage in any improper activities concerning trees other than these two species, and having received the contract seal in accordance with the regulations, we shall strictly observe all matters. We shall also carefully screen lumberjacks and day laborers to ensure they are reliable persons before allowing them to enter the mountain.
1. Regarding not only your domain lands but also adjacent territorial mountains and boundary areas, we humbly acknowledge that even within your domain, we must never enter any area outside our contracted zone. We shall strictly convey this to all lumberjacks and day laborers and ensure they observe this rule. Should any misconduct come to light from external sources, we accept that any punishment may be imposed following investigation.
1. For mountain cutting work, we shall certainly pay ten monme of silver per month for each craftsman to the authorities.
We shall strictly observe the above regulations. For future reference, we submit this document accordingly.
