現代語訳
宋の景定元年庚申年、英祖が即位した。
英祖は天孫氏の後裔で、恵祖世主の孫である。紹定二年己丑年生まれで、
瑞兆があった。十二歳で名声が国家に聞こえ、二十歳で経伝に通じ、国人は彼に仕えることを願って伊
祖按司とした。宝祐元年癸丑年に摂政となり、即位した年は三十二歳であった。翌年
国中を巡行し、周の徹法に倣って経界を正し井田を均等にした。その後穀禄が平等になり、あらゆる
制度が整った。景定五年に西北諸島が初めて来貢し、咸淳二年丙寅年には
北方の夷である大島が来朝した。厚く賜物を与えて帰らせた。これが大島朝貢の始まりである。その
後毎年入貢するようになった。英祖は在位四十年、寿命七十一歳で大徳三年に
薨去した。
大成
元の大徳四年庚子年、大成が王位を継いだ。
大成は英祖の世子で、宋の淳祐七年丁未年生まれ、五十四歳で即位した。
仁義をもって事に当たり、礼譲をもって物事に接したので、国は治まり民は安らかであった。在位九年、寿命六
十二歳で至大元年に薨去した。
英慈
元の至大二年己酉年、英慈が王位を継いだ。
英慈は大成の第二子で、宋の咸淳四年戊辰年生まれ、四十二歳で即
位した。在位五年、政治は旧来の法に従い、深慮遠謀があって物事に通じていた。寿命四十

In Jingding 1st year, gengshen of the Song Dynasty, Eisō ascended to the throne.
Eisō was a descendant of the Tenson lineage and grandson of the Keiso ruler. Born in Shaoding 2nd year, jichou, he showed
auspicious signs. At twelve years old his reputation was heard throughout the realm, at twenty he mastered the classics and commentaries, and the people of the country wished to serve him, making him the Iso
Aji. In Baoyou 1st year, guichou he became regent, and was thirty-two years old when he ascended the throne. The following year
he toured the entire country and, following the Zhou che system, rectified the boundaries and equalized the well-field system. Thereafter grain allowances became equal and all
institutions were properly established. In Jingding 5th year the northwestern islands first came to pay tribute, and in Xianchu 2nd year, bingyin,
the northern barbarians of Ōshima came to court. He gave them generous gifts and sent them home. This was the beginning of Ōshima's tributary relationship. From
then on they paid tribute every year. Eisō reigned for forty years, lived to seventy-one years of age, and died in Dade 3rd year.
Taisei
In Dade 4th year, gengzi of the Yuan Dynasty, Taisei succeeded to the throne.
Taisei was Eisō's heir, born in Chunyou 7th year, dingwei of the Song Dynasty, and ascended the throne at fifty-four years of age.
He handled affairs with benevolence and righteousness, and approached matters with courtesy and deference, so the country was well-governed and the people were at peace. He reigned for nine years, lived to sixty-
two years of age, and died in Zhida 1st year.
Eiji
In Zhida 2nd year, jiyou of the Yuan Dynasty, Eiji succeeded to the throne.
Eiji was Taisei's second son, born in Xianchu 4th year, wuchen of the Song Dynasty, and ascended
to the throne at forty-two years of age. He reigned for five years, his governance followed established precedents, he was deep in planning and knowledgeable about affairs. He lived to forty
