弁財天池は別名円鑑池（エンカンチ）という。中央に小さな祠がある。弁財天女を祀っている。その東に円覚（エンカク）寺がある。尚氏の菩提寺である。尚円（ショウエン）王以下、藩主歴代の位牌を安置している。規模が宏大で、沖縄第一の大寺院である。天界寺、天王寺の二寺と合わせて三大寺と称する。
万歳嶺（マンザイレイ）は中山門外にある。松の木が盛んに茂り、風景がもっとも美しい。中に祠堂があり、千手観音を祀っている。
崎山（サキヤマ）村に尚氏の別荘がある。すなわち首里城の巽の方角（南東）にある。邸内には花卉を雑多に植えており、景色はかなり奥深く趣がある。
物産は焼酎、銀細工、鼈甲細工、織物、豚などである。
浦添間切には十四か村がある。東南は西原間切および首里に接し、西は海に面し、北は宜野湾間切に連なる。那覇から約二里二町の距離である。西岸に牧港があるとはいえ、水深が浅く船の停泊には不便である。昔、鎮西八郎源為朝が帰帆を揚げた所だという。
勢理客川は前田村の山間から発し、西流して小湾村に至り海に注ぐ。
仲間村に極楽山がある。その頂上に古城跡がある。昔、浦添按司が拠点とした所だという。山中に寺院があり、龍福寺という。

Benzaiten Pond is also called Enkan Pond. There is a small shrine in the center where the goddess Benzaiten is enshrined. To its east is Engaku Temple, which serves as the family temple of the Shō clan. It houses the memorial tablets of successive feudal lords from King Shō En onward. Its scale is grand, making it the greatest temple in Okinawa. Together with Tenkai-ji and Tennō-ji temples, these are called the three great temples.
Manzai Ridge is located outside Chūzan Gate. Pine trees flourish luxuriantly, and the scenery is most beautiful. There is a shrine hall within where Thousand-Armed Kannon is enshrined.
In Sakiyama village there is a villa of the Shō clan, located in the tatsumi direction (southeast) of Shuri Castle. Various flowers are planted throughout the estate grounds, and the scenery is quite profound and scenic.
Local products include shōchū (distilled liquor), silver crafts, tortoiseshell crafts, textiles, pigs, and others.
Urasoe Magiri has fourteen villages. The southeast borders Nishihara Magiri and Shuri, the west faces the sea, and the north connects to Ginowan Magiri. It is approximately two ri and two chō distant from Naha. Although there is Maki Port on the western coast, it is shallow and inconvenient for anchoring ships. It is said to be the place where Chinzei Hachirō Minamoto no Tametomo once raised his homeward sail in ancient times.
The Jirикuaku River originates in the mountains of Maeda village, flows west to Kowan village, and enters the sea.
In Nakama village there is Mount Gokuraku. On its summit are the remains of an ancient castle. It is said to be the place where the Urasoe Aji once made his stronghold in ancient times. There is a temple in the mountains called Ryūfuku-ji.
