大兼久村ハ國頭地方、最モ繁盛ノ地ニシテ。國頭
役所及ヒ診察所等アリ。又東江村ニ名護警察署
アリ。
物產ハ米、麥、蕃藷、薪、海魚等ナリ
本部間切ハ十八箇村アリ。海中ニ突出セル半島
ナリ。西北ハ海水ヲ繞ラシ、伊惠島ト相對シ。東南
ハ山林ヲ分チテ、今歸仁羽地名護三間切ニ界ス。
那覇ヲ距ル凡二十一里十八町ナリ。
東南名護間切界ニ八重岳具志川岳アリ。皆高峻
ナリ。其上ニ聳ヘタルヲ嘉津宇岳トス。本島第一
ノ高山ナリ。
渡久地（トグチ）川ハ源ヲ大嵐（オホアラシ）山ヨリ發シ。西流シ渡久地
港ニ注ク。
渡久地村ニ同名ノ港灣アリ。那覇國頭往來ノ船。
必ス此灣ニ入リ。風定ルヲ待テ帆ヲ揭ク。灣ノ西
北ニ大小二島アリ。大ナル者ヲ瀨底（セソコ）島ト云ヒ。小
ナル者ヲ水無（ミンナ）島ト云フ。皆本間切ニ屬ス。

大兼久村は国頭地方で最も繁栄した土地で、国頭役所及び診察所などがある。また東江村に名護警察署がある。
物産は米、麦、サツマイモ、薪、海魚などである。
本部間切には十八か村がある。海中に突出した半島である。西北は海水に囲まれ、伊江島と相対し、東南は山林を分けて今帰仁・羽地・名護の三間切に接している。那覇から約二十一里十八町の距離である。
東南の名護間切との境界に八重岳・具志川岳がある。皆高く険しい。その上にそびえるのを嘉津宇岳とする。本島第一の高山である。
渡久地（トグチ）川は源を大嵐（オオアラシ）山から発し、西に流れて渡久地港に注ぐ。
渡久地村に同名の港湾がある。那覇・国頭間を往来する船は、必ずこの湾に入り、風が静まるのを待って帆を上げる。湾の西北に大小二つの島がある。大きい方を瀬底（セソコ）島といい、小さい方を水納（ミンナ）島という。皆この間切に属する。

Ōganeku Village is the most prosperous place in the Kunigami region, with the Kunigami government office and medical examination facility. There is also a Nago police station in Agarie Village.
The products are rice, wheat, sweet potatoes, firewood, sea fish, and so forth.
Motobu magiri has eighteen villages. It is a peninsula jutting out into the sea. The northwest is surrounded by seawater and faces Ie Island, while the southeast is separated by mountain forests and borders the three magiri of Nakijin, Haneji, and Nago. It is about twenty-one ri and eighteen chō from Naha.
On the border with Nago magiri to the southeast are Mount Yae and Mount Gushikawa. Both are high and steep. What towers above them is called Mount Katsuu. It is the highest mountain on the main island.
The Toguchi River originates from Mount Ōarashi and flows west into Toguchi Port.
In Toguchi Village there is a harbor of the same name. Ships traveling between Naha and Kunigami invariably enter this bay and wait for the wind to calm before raising their sails. In the northwest of the bay are two islands, large and small. The large one is called Sesoko Island, and the small one is called Minna Island. Both belong to this magiri.
The products are rice, wheat, sugar, indigo, timber, firewood, and so forth.
Nakijin magiri has twenty-one villages. To the southwest it borders the three magiri of Haneji, Nago, and Motobu through mountain forests, and on two sides to the northeast it faces the sea.
