地味の肥沃なことは、島尻地方の第一等である。那覇から約二十六町の距離である。
ヤラサ鼻は那覇港の南に突き出した古い砦である。海上に胸壁を築き、壁間に矢眼がある。三重城と港口を隔てて相対している。登って眺望することが最も良い。
この間切は機織りの業が盛んで、本土へ輸送する飛白は、大半がこの地の産物だと言われる。
物産は飛白、木綿縞、米、麦、大豆、砂糖、蔬菜、魚類などである。
豊見城間切は二十一箇村がある。東南は兼城・東風平・南風原の三間切に連なり、西は海に面して小禄間切に斜めに接し、北は那覇湾に面して真和志間切と入り組んでいる。那覇から約一里三十町の距離である。
饒波川は大里間切より来て、西流して那覇湾に注ぐ。

The fertility of the soil is first-class in the Shimajiri region. It is about twenty-six chō from Naha.
Yarasa Point is an old fortress that juts out south of Naha Port. A parapet has been built on the sea, with arrow slits between the walls. It faces Mie Castle across the harbor entrance. Climbing up for the view is especially fine.
This magiri has a thriving weaving industry, and it is said that most of the kasuri (ikat) fabric shipped to the mainland is produced in this area.
The products are kasuri, cotton stripes, rice, wheat, soybeans, sugar, vegetables, fish, etc.
Tomigusuku magiri has twenty-one villages. To the southeast it connects to the three magiri of Kanegusuku, Kochinda, and Haebaru; to the west it faces the sea and adjoins Oroku magiri diagonally; to the north it borders Naha Bay and is interspersed with Mawashi magiri. It is about one ri and thirty chō from Naha.
The Nōha River comes from Ōzato magiri, flows west, and empties into Naha Bay.

Haebaru magiri has ten villages. To the southeast it connects to the two magiri of Ōzato and Kochinda; to the northwest it adjoins the two magiri of Tomigusuku and Mawashi as well as Shuri diagonally. The northeast corner borders Nishihara magiri in Nakagami. It is about one ri and thirty-one chō from Naha.
