The south borders Shimajiri, and the north and south sides face the sea. Mountain ranges extend from northeast to southwest, but there are no remarkable peaks or steep ridges; rather, there is much flat land, and the fertility of the soil is the finest on the main island. This is divided into the two towns of Shuri and Naha, and eleven magiri: Urasoe, Nishihara, Ginowan, Nakagusuku, Katsuren, Yonashiro, Gushikawa, Misato, Goshi, Chatan, and Yomitanzan.
Naha is located at the southwestern end of Nakagami. In Higashi village there is a marketplace where thousands of people gather daily to buy and sell daily necessities. The excitement and bustle is particularly intense.
Naha Port is the foremost harbor in this country, where merchant vessels constantly gather like clouds.
