一　大目付桑原豫州被申聞候は今日御色直ニ付
　　和泉守殿采女正殿拝領物有之候旨御吹聴
　　被仰聞候段被申聞候右ニ付下手紙下廻状
　　我等ゟ可差出旨相詰周防殿へ申談候而帰宅
　　後差出候末ニ記置候事
一　夫ゟ退出老若廻勤於玄関取次え申置候
　　口上振ハ今日之御祝儀并為御礼致伺公候旨
　　申置候老若共ニ口上振同様尤御奏者番
　　当番稲葉丹後殿え承り合候処右之通御
　　奏者番之方ニても申合廻勤口上振相極候旨
　　被申聞候間同席も今日罷出候衆一同申合右口上
　　振ニ取計候帰宅八半時打弐寸廻り候事
一　相詰周防殿ゟ被申越候手紙并別紙御書付
　　之写一通左之通一覧之上承知之返報差遣

一、大目付桑原予州が申し聞かせたのは、今日の御色直しにつき
　　和泉守殿・采女正殿に拝領物があった旨を御上聴に
　　申し上げ聞かされた段を申し聞かせられた。右につき下手紙・下回状を
　　私から差し出すべき旨を相談し、周防殿へ申し談じて帰宅
　　後に差し出した。末に記し置くこと

一、それから退出し、老若の廻勤を玄関の取次に申し置いた
　　口上の内容は「今日の御祝儀並びに御礼として伺候致します」旨を
　　申し置いた。老若共に口上内容は同様。もっとも御奏者番
　　当番の稲葉丹後殿に承り合わせたところ、右の通り御
　　奏者番の方でも申し合わせ、廻勤の口上内容を決めた旨を
　　申し聞かせられたので、同席も今日出席した者一同申し合わせ、右口上
　　内容で取り計らった。帰宅は八時半を二寸回った頃のこと

一、相談相手の周防殿から申し越された手紙並びに別紙御書付
　　の写し一通は左の通り。一覧の上承知の返報を差し遣わし

　　　殿中にて御談申した通り、戸田采女正殿へ御渡しがあった由にて
　　　桑原予州が相達された御書付の写し一通を当
　　　勤の衆へは貴様・拙者連名の回状を以て申し遣わし
　　　水野出羽殿へは貴様・拙者連名の手紙を以て
　　　申し遣わし、病気・幼少・在郷の衆へは下回状を申し付けます
　　　右御書付の写し一通を差し進め申します。御留め置き
　　　なされるべきです。右の段、御意を得るため、このようにございます。以上

1. What Senior Inspector Kuwahara Yoshū conveyed was that regarding today's iro-naoshi ceremony,
　　Lord Izumi-no-kami and Lord Uneme-no-shō received bestowed items, which was reported
　　to His Lordship and heard. Regarding this, I was to send out written messages and circulars
　　After consulting and discussing with Lord Suō, I sent them out after returning home. This is recorded at the end.

1. After that, I withdrew and arranged for senior and junior officials' rounds to be announced to the entrance attendant
　　The verbal message was "I am calling to offer congratulations for today's celebration and to express gratitude"
　　Both senior and junior officials had the same verbal message. Moreover, when I consulted with
　　Duty ceremony announcer Lord Inaba Tango, he informed me that
　　The ceremony announcers had also agreed and decided on the verbal message for their rounds
　　So the same-rank officials who attended today all agreed and handled it with the same verbal message
　　I returned home around 8:30, about two-tenths past.

1. The letter sent from my consultation partner Lord Suō, along with a copy of the separate official document
　　Is as follows. After reviewing it, I sent an acknowledgment reply:

　　　In the palace, since it was given to Lord Toda Uneme-no-shō,
　　　I am sending a copy of the official document conveyed by Kuwahara Yoshū to the current

　　　To Lord Mizuno Dewa, I am sending a letter under both your and my names
　　　To those who are ill, young, or in their domains, I am ordering subordinate circulars to be sent
　　　I am forwarding a copy of said official document. Please retain it.
　　　This is to obtain your understanding of the above matter. That is all.
