居候様大目付桑原豫州被申聞御書付も被為見候是ハ今□□【日之ヵ】
詰日我等周防殿連名ニて廻状周防殿ゟ被出候付略之尤御吸物
御酒被下且廻勤之御書付候事
一 御目付ゟ寄セ有之雁之間え相越
御挙之鳥頂戴之通同席御奏者番向イ合菊之間本席之
嫡子ハ同席之次同所縁頬詰ハ御奏者番之次ニ着座御吸物出御
膳え御肴二種付土器も付キ出頂戴御酒二献廻り老衆御挨拶
被出其時緩々頂戴可致旨上座越中守殿被申難有之旨同席
上座出羽殿被申上老衆奥え御入又御酒一献廻り御銚子入り
御膳も引候番頭えハ御礼不申直ニ正月十一日之通り老衆芙蓉之間
に着座溜詰被出御礼被申上夫レゟ御譜代衆被出相済入替りに
同席上ミ通り三人御奏者番之方ニ而も当番夫レゟ高順ニ両人

【丁裏】
居られる大目付桑原予州が申し聞かせ、御書付も御覧になった。これは今日の
詰日に私と周防殿の連名で廻状を周防殿から出されたためである。略式ながらもっともなことで、御吸物と
御酒を下賜され、また廻勤の御書付があったこと
一 御目付から呼び出しがあり、雁の間へ向かった
御挙の鳥を頂戴する通例通り、同席の御奏者番向かい合って菊の間本席の
嫡子は同席の次、同所縁頬詰は御奏者番の次に着座。御吸物が出て御
膳に御肴二種付き、土器も付いて出され頂戴。御酒二献が廻り、老衆が御挨拶に
出られ、その時ゆっくりと頂戴するよう上座の越中守殿が申され、ありがたい旨を同席の
上座出羽殿が申し上げ、老衆が奥へお入りになった。また御酒一献が廻り、御銚子入りの
御膳も引いた。番頭へは御礼を申さず、直に正月十一日の通り老衆が芙蓉の間
に着座し、溜詰が出て御礼を申し上げ、それから御譜代衆が出て相済み、入れ替わりに
同席上三人、御奏者番の方でも当番、それから高順に両人

都合三人。こちらも御奏者番の跡に付き、菊の間本席、嫡子同所縁
頬詰、同嫡子一同罷出て、上座出羽殿、御吸物御酒頂戴ありがたい段を
申し上げ相済んだ。もっとも芙蓉の間細廊下の方で越中守殿が上座にて居られる間、
右の向かい方同席上座出羽殿、それから同所縁頬の方が下座になった

The Ōmetsuke Kuwabara Yoshū, who was present, conveyed the message and also showed the official document. This was because today
on the duty day, a circular notice was issued by Lord Suō in joint names of myself and Lord Suō. Although brief, it was appropriate, and we received soup and
sake, and there was also an official document regarding rotation duties.
One: There was a summons from the metsuke, so I went to the Kari-no-ma (Wild Geese Room)
Following the custom of receiving the ceremonial bird, the heir of the main seat in Kiku-no-ma (Chrysanthemum Room), seated facing the seated sōshaban,
sat next to his colleagues, and those in the same location's side seating sat next to the sōshaban. Soup was served with
two kinds of side dishes on the tray, earthenware vessels were also brought out and received. Two rounds of sake were passed, and the senior councillors came to offer greetings.
At that time, Lord Echizen-no-kami from the upper seat said to partake leisurely, and Lord Dewa from the upper seat of the colleagues expressed gratitude, then the senior councillors withdrew to the inner rooms. Another round of sake was passed, and the tray with sake vessels
was also cleared. No formal thanks were given to the captains, and directly as on January 11th, the senior councillors took their seats in Fuyō-no-ma (Lotus Room),
the tamari-zume came out to offer formal greetings, then the hereditary retainers came out and concluded, and in replacement,
three from the upper colleagues, also the duty officer from the sōshaban side, then two more in hierarchical order.

A total of three people. We also followed after the sōshaban, at the main seat of Kiku-no-ma, with the heirs at the same location's side
seating, all the heirs came out together, and Lord Dewa from the upper seat expressed gratitude for receiving the soup and sake,
and it concluded. Particularly while Lord Echizen-no-kami was seated in the upper position on the narrow corridor side of Fuyō-no-ma,
facing that direction was Lord Dewa from the upper seat of colleagues, and then those from the same location's side seating became the lower seats.
