現代語訳

禁廷では新たに輿図を刊行した。朝鮮・ハミ・ラサなどの属国の図が皆含まれている。海外の
藩封国は、慣例によってその次に附載されることになっている。もし依然として前の荒唐無稽な記述のままで、訂正を行わなければ、また何をもって
聖朝の風化が遠方まで及んでいることと、外国が内地に心を寄せていることの久しさを示し、職方に附載して、甚だ盛んであると称されるであろうか。
故に記録を執る時においては、特に慎重に細心の注意を払うと言う。康熙六十年、歳は辛丑にあたり、
秋八月。翰林院編修、臣徐葆光謹んで序す。

The imperial court has newly published geographical maps. The maps of tributary states such as Korea, Hami, and Lhasa are all included therein. Overseas
feudatory territories are customarily allowed to be appended in their proper sequence. If we were to continue with the previous absurd and false accounts without making corrections, how could we
demonstrate
the far-reaching influence of our sage dynasty's civilizing transformation, and the long-standing orientation of foreign lands toward the interior, so as to be appended to the Ministry of War records and be called most glorious?
Therefore, when taking up the brush to record, one must be especially cautious and scrupulous. In the sixtieth year of Kangxi, corresponding to the year xincho,
