現代語訳

人は、一人の欠損もなく、皆安全に帰還することができた。その往復の途中、風が少し順調でない時は、臣等が天妃に祈祷すると、即座に安吉を得ることができた。前に台湾を平定した時から、天妃は霊験を顕し順調さをもたらし、すでに皇上の加封を蒙り祭祀を受けている。今回は黙々と封舟を佑護し、種々の霊異があった。仰ぎ祈るには、特恩をもって許可され、該当地方の官をして、春秋に祭祀を致し、以て神庥に報いる等の語がある。恭しく思うに、皇上の徳は寰宇に周く行き渡り、教化は海の隅々まで浸透している。詔命の経るところ、神霊が協応する。ここに琉球国王を冊封するため、特に使臣を遣わして典礼を挙行した。大海の絶険の地を往復し、官兵従役数百人は、皆安吉を獲得した。固より天妃が霊験を顕すことによるが、実に皆我が皇上の懐柔により、百神海若が順調さをもたらした所以である。調べてみると康熙十九年、臣部が議して、天妃を「護国庇民妙霊昭応弘仁普済天妃」として封じ、官を遣わして祭祀を致すことになった。因って具題して、詔を奉じて議に依った。欽遵して案に在る。今天妃が黙々と封舟を佑護し、種々の霊異がある。該当地方の官をして、春秋に祭祀を致し、祀典に編入し、命が下る日を候って行い、該当督撫をして遵行させるべきである。臣等は敢えて擅にすることはできず、便ち謹んで題して詔を請う等のことがある。因って康熙五十九年八月初三日に題し、本月初六日に奉じた。

suffered no losses whatsoever and were all able to return safely. During the round trip, whenever the winds were slightly unfavorable, when we ministers prayed to Tianfei, we immediately obtained safety and good fortune. Since the time when Taiwan was pacified, Tianfei has manifested divine power and brought favorable conditions, already receiving the Emperor's ennoblement and sacrificial rites. Now she silently protected the enfeoffment ships, with various miraculous signs. We humbly pray that through special imperial grace, permission be granted to have local officials conduct sacrificial rites in spring and autumn to repay the divine protection, among other words. We reverently consider that the Emperor's virtue extends throughout the universe, and his transformative influence reaches every corner of the seas. Wherever the imperial edicts go, divine spirits respond in harmony. Here, in order to enfeoff the King of Ryukyu, imperial envoys were specially dispatched to conduct the ceremonial rites. Making the round trip through the extremely perilous regions of the great sea, the several hundred officials, soldiers, and attendants all obtained safety and good fortune. This was certainly due to Tianfei manifesting her divine power, but in reality it was all due to our Emperor's benevolent influence, causing the hundred spirits and sea deities to bring favorable conditions. Upon investigation, in the nineteenth year of Kangxi, our ministry deliberated and decided to enfeoff Tianfei as "Huguo Bimin Miagling Zhaoying Hongren Puji Tianfei" (Nation-Protecting, People-Sheltering, Miraculously Efficacious, Gloriously Responsive, Magnanimously Benevolent, Universally Beneficent Heavenly Consort), and to dispatch officials to conduct sacrificial rites. Therefore, we submitted a memorial and received the imperial edict to follow the deliberation. This was reverently complied with and is on record. Now that Tianfei has silently protected the enfeoffment ships with various miraculous signs, the local officials should be ordered to conduct sacrificial rites in spring and autumn, incorporated into the ritual canon, to be implemented when the imperial command is issued, and the relevant governors should be ordered to comply. We ministers dare not act presumptuously on our own, so we respectfully submit this memorial requesting the imperial edict, among other matters. Therefore, this was memorialized on the third day of the eighth month of the fifty-ninth year of Kangxi, and received on the sixth day of this month.
