六月半ば頃は殊のほか暑さが強かったので、大王は頭が鬱陶しいとして月代を剃ろうとおっしゃった。そこで皆が知恵を巡らして龍吐車で水を汲み上げ、月代を揉んだのは大変立派であった。

英語訳
Around mid-June, the heat was particularly intense, so the great king said his head felt stuffy and that he wanted to shave his monthly topknot. Everyone put their heads together and used a dragon-spout pump to draw up water and massage his topknot, which was magnificently done.
