夜中も格別に明るく、曇りよりもはっきりしているようで、細かい文字などでも灯火なしで読めるほどでございます。

答
それほど怖い出来事には遭いませんでした。ただ恐ろしいのは、かの地の寒気でございます。最初にも申し上げたように、耳や鼻も凍り落ち、手足も切り落とすような状況でございますので、それほど恐ろしいことはございません。

答
大体年中おります。その中でも春の頃から秋の初めまで、特に大量に卵を産み、孵します。家々でも羽を取り、アヒルのように飼い置いて、卵を取って食料にします。雄四、五羽に雌三、四十羽ずつ付けて飼います。卵の味はとても良いものでございます。

Answer
They are generally present year-round. Among them, from spring until early autumn, they lay and hatch eggs in particularly large numbers. Households also pluck their feathers and raise them like ducks, taking their eggs for food. They keep four or five males with thirty or forty females each. The taste of the eggs is very good.

That bridge was damaged, so currently they have built a temporary wooden bridge for passage.
