青楼の来仙夫人道中

あの青楼の郭中にて、江戸でいう中の町ともいうべき所を中庁という。茶屋の代わりに酒屋とて、両側に建て並べ、夕暮れになれば玉の簾を掲げて宴会の酒盛りあり。
円州斎、中庚の竿を携えて青楼の花魁来仙夫人を見初める。

Procession of Raisen Fujin from the Blue Towers

In that blue tower district, in what would be called Naka-no-chō in Edo, there is a place called Chūtei. Instead of teahouses, there are sake shops lined up on both sides. When evening comes, jeweled bamboo blinds are raised and banquet drinking parties are held.
Enshū-sai, carrying a Chūkō pole, falls in love at first sight with Raisen Fujin, a courtesan from the blue towers.
