るなり。されども乗り降りの
割合い難しければ、
三人を三匹の馬に六
里ずつ通しに乗せて、
我は六里ながら徒歩
にて行くべし。これだ
賃の倹約なり。
『象の重さ
を知る事』
象を船に乗せて
水跡つかん所を印し
おき、さて象を降ろし
また物を積みて水跡
の印に至る時、その
積みたる物を降ろし、
その重さを量る。
これ奇天工夫の
【下段】
質後心痛の一 身は不自由なり流すは大損、受け出すことは出来ず、これほど心を痛める事はなしとなり。
質置くは四十の非 とかく質を置き始めては家計は上がらぬと初めよりよくよく思うべし。
質 貧の一進 質を置けばいよいよ貧になる、これ一心の深く覚悟として慎むべし。
○八の段 八は貸しの地口なり。こじつけなり。この段人に金の貸しようなり。
貸し一 高見 先の高を見て先の分限の高に応じて貸すべし。余計に貸すべからず。
貸し 利高非 利息は安くして貸すべし。利の高きは非道なりと戒めたり。
八 算覚置く 貸し金は家内の者もよく身に染みて油断なく、女房も八算でも覚えておくようにすべし。
家質穿鑿の後 家質を取りて貸すとも、その地面をよくよく穿鑿してのちに貸すべし。
貸し後能重義 貸してのちはよく義を重んじ、先からも如才にならぬ義理合いにし加減べし。
河岸付地始終の利 河岸付きの地面を書き入れさせてとるようにすべし。始終利倍有り。
貸質貸中の得 金を貸すに質を取りて貸すほど得な事なし。
貸金が一心 欲深くても損あり、また欲少なくても損あり。この塩梅を一心に心がくべし。
