英語訳
On the sixteenth day of the second month of this year, we took advantage of favorable northeast winds and sailed for half a month, finally arriving at Wuhu Gate in Fuzhou on the thirtieth day. The sea routes of our round trip were quite perilous, but all due to
His Majesty's virtue surpassing all ages,
His blessings equal to Heaven. As we subjects received
the imperial command to travel to this most distant place, the divine spirits showed favorable compliance. All the officials, soldiers, and attendants on our ship,
numbering several hundred people, suffered not a single loss and all returned safely. We subjects are overwhelmed with joy and gratitude. Even the people of Ryukyu
Kingdom and the officials and common people of Fujian Province all proclaimed it miraculous and offered praise, considering it all to be the result of our
Imperial Majesty's virtue extending throughout the seas. During the round trip, whenever the winds were slightly unfavorable, we
subjects prayed to Tianfei and immediately received safety and good fortune. Since the time of pacifying Taiwan, Tianfei has manifested
divine efficacy and compliance, already receiving
His Majesty's additional investiture and sacrificial rites. Now she silently protects the investiture ships with various spiritual manifestations like these. We humbly pray for
special imperial grace to permit the local officials to offer sacrificial rites in spring and autumn to repay the divine protection. We prostrate ourselves awaiting
Imperial decision. We respectfully submit this
memorial.
The Ministry of Rites respectfully presents this memorial to report: We subjects have deliberated and concluded that the Hanlin Academy Compiler, subject Hai Bao, and Editor
, subject Xu Baoguang, and others dispatched to Ryukyu Kingdom, memorialized stating that we subjects
received the imperial edict to invest the King of Ryukyu, and during the round-trip sea voyage, all the officials, soldiers, and attendants numbering several hundred
