When Compiler Chengzhai Xu Guanzhang served as envoy to Ryukyu, he brought glory to the nation through his literary accomplishments, governed affairs of state through his political expertise, and moreover possessed a dignified and imposing appearance, with speech that was both sharp and eloquent.
