録凡若干巻中列中山王圖紀
其宴享以志其崇奉中國之誠
又為之表其世系度其封疆與
其官秩之崇卑廩禄之厚薄又
為之㝎其針路無過用叩針則
無流至葉壁山之患終為之圖
寫土産卉木動植之物必肖其
狀而首則著其揚帆奉使為封
舟圖以見
聖天子威靈呵護出入扵千波
萬水之中經渉魚龍窟穴雖掀
風鼓浪如履平地猗歟壮哉徃
者族父舟次先生奉使時排日
赴宴宴畢即上舩候風今徐君
公事畢閒與其陪臣搜巗剔壑
揮筆賦詩非以是侈其逰眺盖

現代語訳

録は全部で若干巻からなり、中には中山王の図を載せ、その宴饗の様子を記録して中国への崇敬と奉仕の誠意を示している。また王家の世系を表し、その封疆（領土）の範囲と、官職の高低や俸禄の厚薄を測り記した。さらに針路を定めて、過度に羅針盤を用いることなく、葉壁山に流されるような災いを避けるようにした。最終的には土産物や草木、動植物を図写し、その形状を忠実に描き、巻頭には帆を上げて使命を奉じる封舟図を著して、聖天子の威光と霊護が千波万水の中への出入りを守護し、魚龍の窟穴を経由しても、風波が激しく起こっても平地を歩むが如くであることを示した。ああ、壮大なことよ。

The records comprise several volumes in total, which include illustrations of the King of Chuzan, documenting the banquets to demonstrate his sincere reverence and service to China. They also chart the royal lineage, measure the extent of the feudal territory, and record the hierarchy of official ranks and the amounts of their stipends. Furthermore, they establish navigation routes so that without excessive use of the compass, one can avoid the misfortune of being swept away to Yebi Mountain. Finally, they illustrate and describe local products, plants and trees, flora and fauna, faithfully depicting their forms, while the opening features illustrations of tribute ships setting sail in service of their mission, showing how the Sacred Emperor's divine power and spiritual protection guides passage through thousands of waves and myriad waters, and even when traversing the lairs of sea dragons, though winds may rage and waves surge, it is like walking on level ground.
