今般、上様からの御祝儀の配当銭を御領分中の座頭・瞽女共へ下されたところ、割合を渡さない者共もいるという話を聞き、不届き至極である。
当春中に仲間の者共の出入りがあったということで、配当割合を差し出さない者共もいるという話で、誠に不埒千万である。上様から下された物は勿論、春中から滞っている配当も、座元の定法の通り早速しっかりと割合を渡すこと。総じて御領分中から座頭・瞽女へ遣わす配当銭の件は、座頭・瞽女共の扶助のためであるから滞るようなことがあってはならない。たとえ仲間の内に不法者がいても、配当銭は渡し置き、仕置きの筋は京都の紀厳圓への病気見舞いより、その他は申し付けることになっている。もし身持ちが不埒で座元の申し付けを用いない者は、必ずその他へ申し付けること。
右の趣旨を配当頭よりすべてしっかりと申し渡すこと。

One matter: A petition for exemption from the chō-dai service duty was submitted by Shinbē of Naka-machi.
Recently, celebration money distributed from His Lordship to the blind musicians (zatō) and blind female entertainers (goze) throughout the domain was not properly distributed according to the allocation, and it has been heard that there are those who did not receive their share, which is extremely improper.
It is said that there were disputes among guild members during this spring, and some did not submit their allocation shares, which is truly outrageous. Not only what was granted from above, but also the distributions that have been delayed since spring must be distributed immediately and properly according to the guild leader's established regulations. In general, regarding the distribution money sent from throughout the domain to the blind musicians and female entertainers, since it is for the support of these zatō and goze, there should be no delays. Even if there are lawbreakers within the guild, the distribution money should still be paid, and disciplinary matters should be handled through the Kigeien in Kyoto for illness visits, while other matters should be dealt with accordingly. If anyone's conduct is improper and they do not follow the guild leader's instructions, they must be reported to the authorities.
The above matters shall be thoroughly communicated by the distribution head.
