四郎兵衛方二買請サセ目軽き古分
銅内々二而致売買間敷旨度々相触
候之處今以西国並長崎筋二而ハ古分
銅多致売買用候由相聞候此の後
内々二而致売買候義者勿論預置
四郎兵衛方へ可相渡候尤四郎兵衛方より
改役人相廻紛敷分銅者取上候
筈二候其趣急度可相聞者也
右之通寛保年中相触後藤

改める必要がある。上に付く分については改める必要はない。
右の趣旨を町中へ触れ回すこと。以上

金銀掛合の分銅は寛文中に改められたものである。
右の分銅が両替仲間を惑わしているという話を聞いたため、京・大坂・堺近辺については、潰等まで他で売買せず、潰値段をもって後藤四郎兵衛方に買い請けさせ、目軽き古分銅を内々で売買してはならない旨、度々触れ回ったところ、今でも西国並びに長崎筋では古分銅を多く売買で使用しているという話を聞く。この後、内々で売買することは勿論のこと、預け置いて四郎兵衛方へ渡すこと。ただし四郎兵衛方より改役人が回って、紛らわしい分銅は取り上げることになっている。その趣旨をしっかりと聞き置くこと。
右の通り寛保年中に触れ回り、後藤四郎兵衛の役人が回って改めたところ、今でも紛らわしい分銅を使用しているという話を聞いたため、この度四郎兵衛方より分銅改役人が回ることとなった。紛らわしい分銅は取り上げることになっているので、その趣旨をしっかりと

Since it has been changed from Tango-no-kami-sama, henceforth the character "tan" (丹) shall be avoided by both men and women. Moreover, family names shall not become Tango or Tanba either.
The above matter shall be announced throughout the town.

The weights used for gold and silver transactions were reformed during the Kanbun era.
It has been heard that these weights are causing confusion among money changers. Therefore, regarding the areas of Kyoto, Osaka, and Sakai, [it was ordered] not to conduct sales elsewhere until [reaching] the licensed dealers, but to have Gotō Shirōbē purchase them at the standard price, and not to secretly trade old weights of light measure. This has been announced repeatedly, but it is still heard that in the western provinces and along the Nagasaki route, old weights are still being widely used in trade. Hereafter, secretly conducting trade is naturally forbidden, and [such weights] should be deposited and delivered to Shirōbē's office. However, inspection officials from Shirōbē's office will make rounds and confiscate suspicious weights. This matter should be strictly observed.
