現代語訳
文熙院様の御遠忌につき、江戸において明日十日より来る十四日まで法事が行われます。普請・鳴物・祭礼・法事等は中止する必要はありませんが、鳴物については右の御法事中は慎み、家業以外の応接や雑用は停止し、火の元については特に注意するよう申し付けます。
右の趣旨を町中へ触れ回すこと。以上

得定院様の御法事につき三日より四日まで満光寺にて御回向が行われます。町中は火の用心を特に念入りに申し付け、その他諸事慎むよう心得ること。
一、町中自身番は三日昼時より家中の参詣が済むまで、前々の御法事の節の通り心得ること。なお三日夜中の自身番・廻り番共に一層念入りに勤めること。
一、三日四日まで下り橋より横町満光寺門前まで道橋の掃除を申し付けること。
右の通り心得ること。以上

英語訳
Regarding the distant memorial service for Bunki-in-sama, Buddhist memorial services will be held in Edo from tomorrow the 10th through the 14th. Construction work, musical performances, festivals, and memorial services need not be suspended, however regarding musical performances, they should be restrained during the aforementioned memorial service period. Reception activities and miscellaneous work other than essential occupations should be stopped, and particular attention should be paid to fire prevention.
The above matter should be announced throughout the town.
己 October 9th
1. On the coming 4th day
Due to the memorial service for Tokutei-in-sama from the 3rd to the 4th, memorial prayers will be held at Manko-ji temple. Throughout the town, fire prevention should be especially carefully enforced, and all other matters should be conducted with restraint.
1. The town's self-defense guard from the 3rd at midday until the samurai family's temple visits are completed should follow the same procedures as previous memorial services. Furthermore, the self-defense guard and patrol guard on the night of the 3rd should perform their duties with even greater diligence.
1. From the 3rd to the 4th, the roads and bridges from Sagari-bashi to Yokocho in front of Manko-ji temple gate should be cleaned.
The above should be understood accordingly.

Due to the memorial service for Tokuhon-in-sama from the 15th to the 16th, memorial prayers will be held at Manko-ji temple. Throughout the town, fire prevention should be enforced with even greater diligence, and all other matters should be conducted with restraint.
