一此所家造之様子瓦屋根二階造り也板間又ハ敷瓦
之間も有之壁者白壁又者板張之間も有之私儀
者敷瓦之処へ壱畳敷程椽臺を置毛織之上江白毛
織を敷罷在夜分者更紗之蒲團を着し休ミ申候
一此所之食物者日々三度ツヽ米之飯ニ而菜者大根菜
之類亦者𩵋類を醤油煑ニいたし給させ申候尤

一、この所の家造りの様子は、瓦屋根の二階造りです。板の間または敷瓦の間もあり、壁は白壁または板張りの間もありました。私は敷瓦の所へ一畳敷程の縁台を置き、毛織物の上に白い毛織物を敷いて過ごし、夜分は更紗の蒲団を着て休みました。
一、この所の食物は日々三度ずつ米の飯で、菜は大根菜の類または魚類を醤油煮にしたものを給されました。もっとも魚類は日本の魚類と同様で、沢山あるように見えました。
一、店に積み立ててある品々は商売物のようで、唐人のような者と売買している様子に見受けられました。

一、この所の様子は外国人も入り交じっており、繁華な場所で賑やかな体を見受けました。
一、この所から「この国は何国か、我が日本と認識しているか」と唐人に尋ねたところ、唐人は「澳門」と認めて見せました。
一、この所におよそ九十日程も逗留していたところ、四月中旬に船頭のような唐人が外へ送ってくれるような様子を仕方として、町内を六丁程参り、浜辺へ出たところ、およそ三百石積位の唐船一艘が繋留してありました。帆柱は赤く二本です。《割書：帆は竹で、編んだ竹の葉を入れて両方から組んであります》《割書：すべて唐船の帆は右の通りです》その船へ端船から乗り組んだところ、船頭のような唐人が
