故ニ威神力ナキ証拠ヲ見ヨ迚彼傍ニ置ク所ノ
経巻ヲ取テ悉ク引破リ立上リ足下ニ踏散シ是
人間ヲ助ルヿ能ハサルカ故ニ又人間ニ罪ヲ当
ルヿ叶ス栢翁我宗意ハ始テ聞ルヘシ速ニ天帝
如来ヲ尊敬シテ天上ノ果ヲ可被受ト罵リケル
ニ栢翁ハ始メ一ツ二ツ答ケルカ夫ヨリ一言モ
云ハス黙然トシテ聞居タリ梅庵力説破漸々ニ
静リケレハ栢翁座ヲ正シテ曰梅庵ノ説法終リ
タルヤ梅庵曰何是ノミナラン然レトモ一通リヲ
云時如斯ト栢翁曰施ヲ受ルヿヲ誹謗セラルレ
トモ是ハ仏ノ役ナリ抑天帝如来ト云ハ天地開闢
ノ古仏ニシテ世界一枚ノ境界ノ時出現シ玉ヒ
テ日月人間鳥獣迄造リ出シ玉ヒ末世ノ悪業煩
悩ヲ悲ミテ難儀苦行シテ真言陀羅尼ヲ作リ是ヲ
唱フル者ヲ救ヒ給フト聞ケリ天帝宗ノ法門如
斯决定ナリヤ梅庵曰聊モ疑言ナシト栢翁曰梅
庵カ説法不審アリ今我言所ヲ聞届ケテ道理ヲ
糺シ今一応垂解アルヘシ惣テ今世界ニ人間ノ
拵ユル所ノ器物調度モ夫々ノ役アツテ無益ナ

故にその威神力がない証拠を見よ」と言って、彼（梅庵）はそばに置いてあった経巻を取って悉く引き破り、立ち上がって足下に踏み散らし、「これは人間を助けることができないがゆえに、また人間に罪を負わせることができる。栢翁よ、我が宗旨は初めて聞くであろう。速やかに天帝如来を尊敬して天上の果を受けるべきだ」と罵った。
