一行列は海陸数百里の道中ゆへ少しつゝの増減前後あり
このほんやんことなき手筋をもつてくわしく

一、行列の見どころは琉球王、楽童子、その他一般とは全く異なる風俗、珍しい衣服、楽器の音色を要点とする。文化三年寅年の来朝から当辰年まで、この七年目の来朝であり、また次にいつ行列を見ることができるかも分からず、実に近代においては貴重な見物である。よってこの本を持参すれば、一時的に行列を見ただけの人にはかなり勝るであろうし、また見た人が持つならば、いよいよその詳細を理解することができるものである。

一、行列は海陸数百里の道中であるため、少しずつの増減や前後の変化がある。この本では、確実な手筋（情報源）をもって詳しく調査し、本格的な行列を記録する。

1. The highlights of the procession are the Ryukyu King, court musicians (gakudōji), and others with completely different customs, unusual clothing, and the sounds of their musical instruments. From the court visit in Bunka 3, Year of the Tiger, to this Year of the Dragon, this is the seventh year since their visit, and it is uncertain when the procession might be seen again, making it truly a precious spectacle in modern times. Therefore, if one carries this book, one will have a considerable advantage over those who only glimpsed the procession momentarily, and for those who did see it, this will enable them to understand the details even more thoroughly.

1. Since the procession travels several hundred ri by sea and land, there are slight increases, decreases, and changes in order along the way. In this book, using reliable sources, I have investigated thoroughly and recorded the authentic procession.
