の糸（いと）の穴（あな）に入（いり）て。かくると云（い）へり。かやうの。
奇特（きどく）をも尊（たつと）しとせんや。夫（それ）六 通（つう）と
云（いふ）は。天眼通（てんげんつう）。天耳通（てんにつう）。他心通（たしんつう）。宿命通（しゆくみやうつう）。
飛行通（ひぎやうつう）。漏尽通（ろじんつう）也（なり）。天眼通（てんげんつう）と云（いふ）は。大千（たいせん）
世界（せかい）の事（こと）を。一目（ひとめ）に見（み）る通（つう）也。天耳通（てんにつう）と云（いふ）
は。大千世界（たいせんせかい）の事（こと）を。乍（なから）＿レ居（い）聞（きく）通（つう）なり。他心（たしん）
通（つう）と云（いふ）は。他人（たにん）の心中（しんちう）を明（あきら）かに知（しる）通（つう）也。宿命（しゆくみやう）
通（つう）と云（いふ）は。過去（くわこ）生々（しやう〳〵）世々（せゝ）を知（しる）通（つう）也。飛行（ひぎやう）
通（つう）と云（いふ）は。天上（てんじやう）天外（てんぐはい）まで。飛行（ひぎやう）自由（じゆふ）の

通（つう）也。此（この）五通（ごつう）は。天魔外道（てんまげどう）にも有（ある）通（つう）也。漏尽（ろじん）
通（つう）と云（いふ）は。天魔外道（てんまげどう）の及（およ）ぶ処（ところ）にあらず。煩（ぼん）
悩（のふ）を断（だん）じ尽（つく）す処（ところ）の佛智（ぶつち）なり。然（しかれ）ば佛（ほとけ）
の六通（ろくつう）には奇特（きどく）なし。去間（さるあひだ）正法（しやうぼふ）に奇特（きとく）
なしと云へり。此（この）理（ことはり）を知（しら）ざる人は天魔外（てんまげ）
道（どう）にたぶらかさるべし。夫（それ）佛（ほとけ）の六通（ろくつう）と
云（いふ）は。眼（まなこ）に色（いろ）を見て不（ず）＿レ碍（さはら）。耳（みヽ）に声（こゑ）を聞（きい）

の糸の穴に入って隠れると言われている。このような奇特をも尊いとするのか。そもそも六通というのは、天眼通、天耳通、他心通、宿命通、飛行通、漏尽通である。天眼通というのは、大千世界のことを一目で見る神通力である。天耳通というのは、大千世界のことを居ながらにして聞く神通力である。他心通というのは、他人の心中を明らかに知る神通力である。宿命通というのは、過去の生々世々を知る神通力である。飛行通というのは、天上天外まで自由に飛行する

神通力である。この五通は、天魔外道にもある神通力である。漏尽通というのは、天魔外道の及ぶところではない。煩悩を断じ尽くすところの仏智である。それゆえ仏の六通には奇特なことはない。だから正法には奇特なしと言われている。この道理を知らない人は天魔外道にたぶらかされるであろう。そもそも仏の六通というのは、眼で色を見ても妨げられず、耳で声を聞いても妨げられず、鼻で香を嗅いても妨げられず、舌で味をなめても妨げられず、身で触れても妨げられず、

Now, the six supernatural powers are: divine eye, divine ear, mind-reading, knowledge of past lives, supernatural movement, and elimination of defilements. Divine eye means the power to see all matters of the great thousand-fold world at a glance. Divine ear means the power to hear all matters of the great thousand-fold world while remaining in one place. Mind-reading means the power to clearly know the minds of others. Knowledge of past lives means the power to know all past existences through countless lifetimes. Supernatural movement means the power to fly freely to the heavens and beyond.

This power exists even among demons and heretical practitioners. The elimination of defilements is beyond the reach of demons and heretical practitioners. It is the Buddha's wisdom that completely cuts off all afflictions. Therefore, there are no miracles in the Buddha's six powers. Hence it is said that there are no miracles in the true Dharma. Those who do not understand this principle will be deceived by demons and heretical practitioners. Now, the Buddha's six powers mean: seeing colors with the eyes without obstruction, hearing sounds with the ears without obstruction, smelling fragrances with the nose without obstruction, tasting flavors with the tongue without obstruction, touching with the body without obstruction.
