現代語訳
鉄線仕上げの図
蔓は藤の蔓にて、葉は南天の葉にて付ける。このごとく葉三つ付けて蔓に挿すか巻き付ける。もっとも針金を萌黄の木綿糸でこれを細い笹竹に巻いて立てる。
○梅の仕様
栗にて木取りの図
花びら五枚
次にこのごとく作り薄く切る。煙管の雁首にて手のひらにて中窪みに反りを付け水へ入れて置く。
台座は唐辛子の台座、このところへ竹釘にて花びらを挿す。
吹き上げの図
中の蕊はせりか三つ葉の株のところ根を切り逆さまに使う。
梅仕上げの図
唐辛子の軸を枝に穴開けて挿し込む。
蕾も唐辛子の台座にて、もっとも栗に蕾の形に作る。枝は山の木の枝にて付ける。
○桜の仕様
前にあるごとく栗にて花びらを作る。手のひらへ載せ包丁の峰にて縦に反りを付け水へ入れて置く。
花びら五枚、八重桜は十枚も作って台座は唐辛子の台座。
このところへ竹釘にて挿す。
前の梅のごとく、また枝挿して蕊の梅のごとくせりか三つ葉の株を切って挿す。
枝は桜の枝よし。もしなくば何なりとも似たる枝にて。
○この花びらは水に少し紅を入れ浸けて置き、桜色にするなり。
葉は要（かなめ）か南天の葉か使う。ただし締めしの赤き葉がよし。
桜仕上げの図
蕾は梅の蕾に少し長くする。
八重桜は前の菊のごとく重ね掛けて吹く。

Use wisteria vines for the tendrils, and attach nandina leaves for the foliage. As shown, attach three leaves and insert into or wrap around the vine. Use wire wrapped with light green cotton thread around thin bamboo stakes to stand upright.
○Plum Instructions

Next, make as shown and cut thinly. Use a pipe stem on the palm of your hand to create a curved hollow in the center, then soak in water.
The base uses red pepper calyxes. Insert the petals into this area with bamboo pegs.

For the center pistils, cut the root portion of parsley or mitsuba stems and use upside down.

Make a hole in the branch and insert the red pepper stem.
For buds, also use red pepper calyxes, preferably shaped into bud form using chestnuts. Attach branches using mountain tree branches.
○Cherry Blossom Instructions
As mentioned before, make petals using chestnuts. Place on palm and use the spine of a knife to create vertical curves, then soak in water.
Five petals for regular cherry blossoms, up to ten for double cherry blossoms. Use red pepper calyxes for the base.
Insert into this area with bamboo pegs.
Like the previous plum method, also insert branches and cut parsley or mitsuba stems for pistils like the plum.
Cherry branches are best for branches. If unavailable, use any similar-looking branch.
○For these petals, add a little red to water and soak to create cherry blossom color.
For leaves, use Japanese photinia or nandina leaves. However, tightly bound red leaves are best.

For buds, make slightly longer than plum buds.
For double cherry blossoms, layer and puff like the previous chrysanthemum method.
