右の類。其 餘（よ）はこれに準知（じゆんち）すべし。惣（そう）じて自己（じこ）の
居住（きよぢう）。先（さき）に見る所を第一の種（たね）とし。その次（つぎ）に見（み）る

平生（へいせい）居室（きよしつ）の具（ぐ）を用ひて。記臆（きおく）の種（たね）とせば。
幾品（いくしな）幾 色（いろ）もあるべし。但（たゝ）し動（うご）かざる道具（どうく）を
用ゆ。こゝかしこへ持（もち）あるく道具（どうぐ）などを。とりて
種（たね）とせば。次第（しだい）みだれて。悪（あ）しきなり
源氏（けんじ）験證（けんしやう）
たとへば。源氏（けんじ）六十四 帖（でう）の名目（みやうもく）を暗記（あんき）【左ルビ「そらおほへ」】せんとせば
先第一は惣廓（そうくるは）なり。その廓（くるは）の傍（そば）に。壺（つほ）に桐（きり）の

右の類。その他はこれに準じて知るべきである。総じて自分の
住居で、先に見る所を第一の種（記憶の場所）とし、その次に見る

所を第二とし、その次を第三第四とする。このように
平生の居室の道具を用いて、記憶の種とすれば、
いくつもの品々、いくつもの種類があるはずである。ただし動かない道具を
用いる。あちこちに持ち歩く道具などを取って
種とすれば、順序が乱れて、よくない。
源氏（実例による証明）
例えば、源氏物語五十四帖の名目を暗記（そらで覚える）しようとすれば、
まず第一は総廓である。その廓の傍らに、壺に桐の

Such are the examples. The rest should be understood following this pattern. Generally, in one's own
residence, make the first place you see the first "seed" (memory location), and the next place you see

the second, and the next the third and fourth. In this way,
using the furnishings of your daily living quarters as memory seeds,
there should be many items and many varieties. However, use immovable objects.
If you take objects that are carried here and there
as seeds, the sequence will be disrupted, which is bad.
Genji (Verification by Example)
For example, if you wish to memorize the titles of the fifty-four chapters of the Tale of Genji,
first, the first is the main compound. Beside that compound, in a pot with paulownia
