1. At the go-kurosho-in-tamari, Matsudaira Awa-no-kami, who was ill, was in attendance.

he had an audience, Hōki-no-kami made the announcement, and
the same person reported their intention to offer congratulations.
After receiving the lord's response, and after some time, [the lord] proceeded to
the seat for viewing the Noh performance.
Leading the way was Mizuno Echizen-no-kami
1. The fusuma sliding doors of the go-ma were opened by Bingo-no-kami and Izumi-no-kami,
and the various daimyo sat in rows.
There was an audience, and Hōki-no-kami made the formal presentation.
After receiving the lord's response, the fusuma sliding doors were closed,
and [the lord] entered.
