三好長慶滅び失せて、高山の者より大将軍の御所院を出だし、義輝公の御手に返りければ、足利の天下大山の安きに返り、義輝公の方略も宝を戦技の手立てにて、光慶が謀反これより始まって現れ、御所院衆の鶴丸とも再び世に出でしも、ひとえにこの下久吉が働きなりとて、禁廷にも御感あり。義輝公へ勅使の次第をもって藤吉をも召し出され、筑前守に成し下され、これよりこの下を改め羽柴筑前守久吉と名乗り、いよいよ雷鳴を四海に振るい、栄え久しき武門の勲功めでたかりけるしだい也。

With Miyoshi Chokei's destruction and demise, the Shogun's Palace was restored from those of Mount Koya, and returned to the hands of Lord Yoshiteru. The Ashikaga realm returned to the great peace of Mount Tai. Lord Yoshiteru's strategies, using treasures as instruments of warfare, revealed the beginning of Kokei's rebellion from this point. The Palace attendants and their sword bearers once again emerged into the world, all due entirely to the efforts of this subordinate Hisayoshi. Even the Imperial Court was pleased. Through imperial messengers to Lord Yoshiteru, Toyoshi was also summoned and granted the title of Governor of Chikuzen. From this point, this subordinate changed his name to Hashiba Chikuzen-no-kami Hisayoshi, increasingly spreading his thunderous reputation across the four seas, achieving long-lasting prosperity and meritorious military accomplishments.
