御測量御役人様え御窺
尚又御宿内御会釈方
諸事御聞合申上度奉存
罷越申候近頃乍御世話宜様
御取合被下候様奉願候段
申入候所承知ニ而何分御世話
可致候右之段所役人えも
為申聞可申由被申則弥平治
方ニ一宿仕候右同人引合ニ而
足助村役人《割書：久左衛門｜彦七》
右両人え御対面仕右之段申
入候処承知ニ而御測量様へ
申上候得は早速致同道
罷出候様御沙汰ニ付則久左衛門
彦七同道御本陣え罷出
候之所下河辺政五郎様
御逢被下高遠ゟ罷越候由
現代語訳
測量御役人様へお伺いし、
なお宿泊先での接客方法や
諸事についてお聞き合わせ申し上げたく存じ、
出向いて参りました。この度はお世話になりますが、よろしく
お取り計らいくださいますようお願いいたします、と
申し入れたところ、承知いたしました、何分にもお世話
いたしましょう。この件については村役人にも
申し聞かせておきましょう、とおっしゃって、そのまま弥平治の
ところに一泊いたしました。その弥平治の紹介で
足助村役人 久左衛門
彦七
この両名にお目にかかり、この件を申し
入れたところ、承知いたしました、測量様へ
申し上げましたところ、早速同道して
出向くようにとの御指示があり、そこで久左衛門、
彦七同道で御本陣へ出向きました
ところ、下河辺政五郎様が
お会いくださり、高遠から出向いた由を
英語訳
[We] made inquiry to the Survey Officials,
and furthermore wished to make arrangements regarding
reception methods at lodgings and various other matters,
so we came here. We requested that though we would be
troubling them recently, please give us favorable
consideration. When we made this request,
they acknowledged it and said they would certainly provide assistance.
They said they would also inform the village officials
about this matter. Then we stayed one night at
Yaheiji's place. Through Yaheiji's introduction,
Asuke village officials Kyūzaemon
Hikoshichi
We met these two officials and made our
request. They acknowledged it and when they
reported to the Survey Officials,
[we received] orders to promptly accompany them
and come out. Therefore, accompanied by Kyūzaemon
and Hikoshichi, we went to the honjin
where Shimokōbe Magogorō-sama
graciously met with us, [learning that we] had come from Takatō.
