ジャワは中国の西南方にある遠い国である。大変暑い国で、四季の寒暑の順序が中国や日本の国とは正反対で甚だ異なっている。現在日本に来るオランダ人が住んでいるジャカルタも、この国の北端である。したがって別に人物を図示しない。北極星は見えず、南緯六度または七度の位置にある。
