タカサゴは中国大陸東南の海中にある島国である。昔オランダ人が住んでいた時は台湾と号し、
国姓爺（鄭成功）が居住して以後は東寧と改めた。暖かい国である。土地の人々の風俗は甚だ卑しく、常に鹿などを狩猟
することを生業とする。農民は砂糖きびやスイカを栽培することを生業とする。米麦は一年に二度収穫する。
北極から出る度数は二十二、三度である。

オランカイは朝鮮の北東にある寒い国である。「良」の字を「艮」とするのは誤りか。この国は甚だ朝鮮に
近いという。ある人は女真国の属国だと言う。北極から出る度数はおよそ四十二度である。
