　大清ハ即今ノ唐土ノ号也天子ノ本国韃靼ナルカ故ニ大明ノ世ノ
　風俗ヲ改此故ニ二国ノ図ヲ分テ古今ノ風俗ヲシラシム二京十三道
　文字経史学法前代ニ随テ変改セス

大清は現在の中国の国号である。天子の本国が韃靼であるため、大明時代の風俗を改めた。このため二国の図を分けて古今の風俗を知らせる。二京十三道、文字、経史、学法は前代に従って変改しない。

2. People of the Great Qing

The Great Qing is the current dynastic name of China. Because the emperor's homeland is Tartary, they reformed the customs of the Great Ming period. For this reason, the illustrations of the two countries are separated to show the customs of past and present. The two capitals and thirteen circuits, writing system, classics and histories, and scholarly methods follow the previous dynasty without change.
