（大目付が大広間に）案内して、二之間の御譜代大名の前へ向かって着座する
松平薩摩守
右（の者が）出座し、御下段の御敷居の内において
御目見、御奏者番が披露し、御中段まで召し出される。「今度琉球人の使者を遠路召し連れ、大儀であると思し召される段」
上意があり、年寄共が御取り合い申し上げ、御次へ退座する

(The senior inspectors) guide them and take their seats facing toward the front of the fudai daimyō in Ni-no-ma
Matsudaira Satsuma-no-kami
The above (person) comes forward and takes his position within the threshold of the lower platform
An audience is granted, the goshōsha-ban makes the announcement, and he is summoned up to the middle platform. "Regarding this occasion when the Ryukyuan envoys have been brought from afar, His Lordship thinks it must have been arduous"
The shōgun's words are conveyed, the rōjū (senior councilors) respond appropriately, and he withdraws to the antechamber
