一 当年作間石切名前書上仕候外壱人茂
無御座候猶又村中入念一々取調仕候処
少茂相違無御座候若此上ニ茂不吟味成
儀有之而後日被及御聞候ハヽ其御元より
早速御注進可成候其段御調之上何
様之御咎筋被 仰付候共少茂御帳申上
間敷候為後日役人連印仍而如件

差し上げ申し上げる一札の件
一、今年の作業期間中の石切職人の名前を書き上げましたが、それ以外に一人もおりません。なお、村中で注意深く一人一人を調べましたところ、少しも相違はございません。もしこの上にも調査が不十分な件があって、後日お聞き及びになりましたならば、その元よりすぐにご報告いたします。その段階でご調査の上、どのようなお咎めをお申し付けになっても、少しも異議申し上げることはございません。後日の証拠のため、役人が連名で印を押し、よって書面の通りです。

Document of Submission
Item: We have submitted a written list of the names of stone cutters working during this year's work period, and there is no one else besides those listed. Furthermore, we have carefully investigated each person throughout the village, and there are no discrepancies whatsoever. Should there be any matter of insufficient investigation beyond this point that comes to your attention later, we will immediately report it from our end. At that stage, after your investigation, whatever punishment you may impose upon us, we will not raise any objection. As proof for future reference, the village officials affix their seals jointly, and hereby submit this document as stated.
