御聞済之御沙汰池田氏ゟ書付を以被仰越候 月番池上庄太郎

旧冬ゟ甲府八日町須原屋清兵衛売掛金出入一件ニ付被
召出数度之奉蒙
御調御利解奉恐入候当時御吟味中手錠被仰付只管
相慎罷在然ル処訴詔人清兵衛ゟ御願高金弐百五拾両也
右之内金七拾五両不足勘弁致シ呉残金百七拾五両之内金百

Regarding myself
Since last winter, I have been summoned regarding a matter concerning outstanding debts with Suharaya Seibei of Hachikamachi, Kōfu, and have undergone investigation multiple times, for which I am deeply ashamed. Currently, during the investigation, I have been ordered to wear shackles and am in strict confinement. However, the plaintiff Seibei has petitioned for a sum of 250 ryō, and of this amount, he has agreed to forgive 75 ryō as shortage, and of the remaining 175 ryō, 100 [text cuts off]
