此度東海道吉原宿困窮二付
人馬賃銭割増左之通可請取旨申渡

世上通用之ため去寅年弐歩判金
吹立被 仰付候者小判鍛金有之
畢竟元文之度吹替之侭二而此上年を経

無之ため此度小判金是迄之目方を以
厚め尓吹直し被 仰付候壱歩判之儀茂

今回、東海道吉原宿が困窮しているため、
人馬賃銭の割増を左記の通り徴収するよう申し渡す
東海道
吉田宿
去る丑年六月から当卯年五月までの五か年間、
人馬賃銭を合計五割増しに定めて
おいたところ、なお当卯年六月から来年五月まで
五か年間、これまでと同様に五割増しとする
右の割増銭を申し渡すので、その旨を理解し
関係者に通達すること
卯年七月
右の通り公儀から御書付が出されたので

世間の通用のため、去る寅年に二歩判金の
鋳造を仰せ付けられたが、小判に偽金がある。
結局、元文年間の吹き替えのまま年月を経る
につれて、偽金もますます多くなり、際限もない状況で
値上がりの難儀となるであろう。よって将来の偽造の心配が
ないよう、今回小判金をこれまでの目方で
厚めに吹き直すことを仰せ付けられた。一歩判についても

For the five-year period from the sixth month of the previous Ox year to the fifth month of the current Rabbit year,
porter and horse fees were set at a total increase of 50 percent.
Furthermore, for the five-year period from the sixth month of the current Rabbit year to the fifth month of next year,
the same 50 percent increase shall continue as before.
The above additional fees are hereby announced, so understand this matter
and notify all concerned parties.
