伯叔父姑甥姪従弟聟舅小舅相聟
且養実之父母相互之儀ハ押立高吉凶

適々出会ハ用捨すへし其次第食物等之
定委細家老共より書付を以可申渡事
一 音信贈答尤出会免置一類之外ハ家内之
者共内證と号し微少之ものたりとも取替
厳令停止也一類共無拠取替之品今度
定格を極家老共より可申渡条可得其旨事
一 餞別土産之儀は親子兄弟ニ限其外親族
たりとも決而令停止事
一 平日之村人近年用捨成置といへとも猶又此度
再借申付節たる間人々可取続所を専に
心掛召仕之男女減る処ハ勝手次第之事
一 厳大略之節といへとも文学武芸之心懸
勿論不怠相励勤勉之者其格々を不乱
一己之慎放失すへからさる事
附再借年数之内たりとも勤労年功抜群
たる歟或ハ役付或ハ人数の明あらハ新知
加増褒美又ハ新ニ召出候儀此節之相応ニ
可申付事
一 年数之之間ハ倹約掛之役人共此砌ニ限らす
月々会日極置不純万事遂吟味微細
なる品迄も可略義ハ追々及沙汰改る可品
現代語訳
伯叔父・姑・甥・姪・従弟・聟・舅・小舅・相聟、また養父母・実父母相互の件については、格式に応じた吉凶事の寄合は免除する。また同輩たちが親睦のために時折集まることは控えるべきである。その詳細や食物等の規定について、詳細は家老たちから書付をもって申し渡すこと。
一、音信・贈答は最も出費がかかるため、親族以外は家内の者たちが内証と称して微少なものであっても取り交わすことを厳重に禁止する。親族間でもやむを得ない取り交わしの品については、今度定められた格式を極めて、家老たちから申し渡すので、その旨を理解すること。
一、餞別・土産の件は親子・兄弟に限り、その他の親族であっても決して禁止すること。
一、平日の村人への施しについては、近年配慮して行ってきたとはいえ、なお今度再度の借上を命じる時節であるから、各人が家計を維持できるところを専ら心がけ、召使いの男女を減らすところは都合次第のこと。
一、厳しい簡素化の時節とはいえ、文学・武芸への心がけはもちろん怠らず、相励み勤勉な者はその格式を乱さず、自己の慎みを失ってはならない。
付け加えて、再借年数の間であっても、勤労・年功が抜群であるか、あるいは役職に就くか、人数に空きが生じれば新知・加増・褒美、または新たに召し出す件について、この時節に相応しく申し付けること。
一、年数の間は、倹約掛の役人たちがこの時に限らず月々会合の日を定めておき、不正がないよう万事を吟味し、微細な品目まで省略すべきものは追々沙汰に及び、改めるべき品目
